Oi, I heard that Hi Cueball and welcome to the forum . Pull up a chair and have a look around, fire away with any questions you may have and you will receive fast responses (cos the folks on here are good like that)

I have never used a pass through battery Prep so I am not entirely sure, but I think it has something to do with plugging it into a USB socket and the e-cig so you can vape away without killing the battery I am sure a more experienced person will be able to advise you better, sos.

*Walks in new thread, reads this........... If it were an on topic thread about being off topic then it would only be on topic by going off topic but by being off topic it is in fact on topic which means it's always on topic when being off topic On an off topic on topic side note mmm topics !! gets up off floor totally confused and slips back out of thread*

Morning guys, thanks for all the replies Going to spend some of the day having a good old browse round the web to see what's out there and to give me some ideas. Alvoram that 3 month rental is a good concept so I will do a bit of research into that as I definately want to have a go at the violin first . You have some good goals there Des, I especially like the idea of the American Diner breakfast. My long term dream has always been to go on a gastro tour of the deep south. They seem to put a lot of love into their food and I would like to see the 'real' country as I am not a big fan of 'touristy' type places. My two biggest hurdles though are the cost and the fact that I have a massive fear of flying . I have held my passport for about seven years and have not yet been out of the country Ah well maybe one day.

That is a really good and well thought out post Flipflop . It is great to read about the learning curve of a newbie and I think it would definately help other people starting out on their journey. Congratulations on giving up the nasties

Due to long term health problems I have recently returned to being a full time housewife, this was not an easy decision but I am very lucky to have a loving a supportive hubby (don't tell him I said so ). Anyway over the last couple of months I have been doing a lot of reflecting over my life and whilst I am blessed with a loving family and a couple of really great friends, there are things which I have always wanted to do but never had the time to get round to achieving them and wondered if other people have their own list of things they would like to do? Mine are not massive like sailing round the world (hahaha as if) but I feel now could be the time to start. 1. I would love to have a go at jewellery/bead making. I do get anxiety so I think this would be a good one where I could use my hands. If anyone does this already I would be grateful of any advice/tips on what I need to get started. If I am any good at it then I would like to sell the pieces to raise money for animal rescue. 2. Learn to play a musical instrument, in particular the clarinet/flute/violin/ukelele. Even though this is something I have wanted to do for a long time, what has always put me off is the cost of the instrument if I prove to be useless at it 3. Learn to do patchwork/quilting, again something to keep my hands busy. 4. Learn how to do sugar craft. I like baking but my decoration has been limited to a sheet of soft icing with bought stuff from the supermarkets These are just the tip of the iceburg but the ones I would really like to do. So come on folks, what are your ambitions?

Hi all, the OH is not ignoring you but he has been doing a lot of shifts at work and literally falls asleep once he has eaten and had a drink (he was up and out at 3.45am today). Hopefully he will be coming on the boards either today or tomorrow to give you all an update .
