Hi guys,
I have a Protank 2 Mini with 2.5 coils perched on the end of a bog standard Evod 650mah battery and I'm looking for the coolest vaping juice available here in the UK.
I'm a pretty heavy smoker rolling 100g plus of Drum a week and pretty determined to give it all up, but so far I am seriously struggling. My extremely limited experience of liquids so far are with Dekang (70pg/30vg) RY4 (totally disgusting) and their menthol at 24 nic. However, both seriously irritate my throat WITHOUT inhaling so I'm looking for some alternatives.
I'm really not at all interested in throat hit or clouds of vapour, I'm just looking for something to start me on the road to recovery! Is there a particular juice which you experts might recommend to give me the maximum delivery with minimum irritation?
At this very early stage I'm really not looking at changing my hardware - just changed my Evod Glass 1.5 to the above - so all suggestions more than appreciated.
Thanks again guys,
Malc

Well having looked in to this a lot more since returning from work it appears that pretty much all tanks - at least the latest models - are centred on coils rated at 1.5-1.8 ohms which burn hot, or at least too hot for me.
There are very good reasons why I'm having to at least TRY to give up smoking but this is now becoming a little dispiriting. All I was looking for was a starter kit to try out to see if vaping would be for me and the Evod seemed to tick all the boxes but it doesn't if its too hot to draw in my mouth!
At this stage I'm not into all the techie stuff with VV/VW, adjustable air flow etc, I just want to be able to try vaping! Think I'll have a look at the Protank 2 which runs 2.5 ohm coils unless there are other suggestions?
Cheers!

Hi again all,
And thanks again for all of the replies. Still busy at work at the mo but I will certainly be following all the good advice regarding the gurgling. However, I am pretty concerned about the hot vaping.
The supplied coils at 1.5ohm really are too hot for me to vape, so are the ones at 1.8 likely to make much of a difference? It does appear that these are the only two coil options which is going to be a bit of a bummer, and although after what I thought was fairly thorough research for an ideal starter kit this is something which I obviously missed.
Anyway, sadly back to work until later.

Thanks for all the input guys.
Although I received the kit yesterday I wasn't going to start with it until the weekend when I had a bit more time to myself but couldn't resist! I'll certainly take everything on board and particularly trying higher ohm coils. I was a little concerned beforehand about the 1.5 ohm ones but that's what the kit is supplied with and I particularly wanted the glass tank.
Anyway, I'm going to leave it to one side for now until I have some proper time to myself as I don't want to start frustrating myself at the beginning!
Edit: Appears that the only alternative to the 1.5 ohm dual coils are 1.8 so is that likely to make much difference? Cheers.

I'd blame the 1.5 coils, almost 12 watts on an Evod sounds high to me although I realise that's what is supplied with the kit. Does it get any better with use, ie as the battery voltage decays ? Maybe order some replacement coils at 1.8 or 2 ohms and how that goes. Well I've only used it has is out of the box a couple of hours ago. I appreciate the low ohm coils will generate the heat and there is most definitely no liquid in the centre tube, just a bit disconcerting for a first time user that's all.

Hi!
Well I've been lurking around here for the past couple of weeks and finally my first ever vaping kit arrived today, the Kanger Evod Glass starter kit. However, I have a problem (I think!)
Filled the tank no more than two thirds full and let it stand for a good 45 minutes plus but from first fire up and ever since its making continual gurgling/popping sounds. The vape is also pretty hot but guess that's down to the 1.5 ohm coils?
Its already sent me back to the rollies so any help/suggestions much appreciated! Thanks in advance,
Malc.
