'Fraid so, Chrissie! Nothing is ever straightforward where I'm concerned The ones I thought I'd like remain untouched - the smell's enough to put me off! Quite liking the mint one though............ it's a fine line between getting it mild enough for it not to blow my head off but strong enough to actually taste it. I've been mixing the juice & glycerine drop by drop in empty film cartridges, sometimes adding a drop of water as well if it's too gloopy. I'll get there eventually. I'm hoping that if I order the mild juice next time, then all I should have to do is put it straight into the cart & it'll be ready to go Until then, the Silk Cut are still making an appearance. You folks have been wonderfully helpful - I think I'd have chucked the whole caboodle through the window by now otherwise!

THanks folks, Oh the joys of being a total ignoramus new to the art huh? The 'big boys' could tell me anything & not knowing any different, I'd believe them & get taken for a mug yet again. I'll get back to George about a replacement now I'm armed with the knowledge lol. He mustn't work weekends. Thanks again

Thanks folks - some helpful info in there. Sorry for not getting back sooner though but 'stuff' insists in getting the way. I sent George a film clip last night of what it was doing (sad, I know, but thought it might explain better than I did), but haven't heard back from him yet. It's still doing it despite blowing & sooking it till I'm one step away from an apoplexy! It does rather look like the battery's kaput . I'll see what George says & if he agrees, then maybe he'll get onto it He did send me a link to an atty cleaner though! Still struggling with the dosage. It's either so weak it makes my cheeks meet with the almighty suck needed or it's so strong that the room won't stay still & that's not nice Does everybody get this hassle? Or is it just me! I hope it's worth it in the end Thanks again everybody

Evening you lovely bunch I started on the gizmo yesterday - the kitchen looks like Frankenstein's kitchen with assorted bottles, droppers, syringes etc while I'm trying to mix up an approx dose of ejuice & glycerine! Blow this - next time, I'll get the low strength stuff! One or two minor mishaps, but hopefully, they can be sorted. Tried to alternate the 2 ecigs, as recommended on here earlier. One seems fine, the other's throwing a major wobbly. I refilled the cart & recharged the battery this morning as it seemed a bit feeble & now it's bust Since the first go, it tastes 'burnt', the atomiser is too hot to hold & the battery seems to have developed a life of it's own. It switches itself on as soon as I touch the ecig (not just when having a puff), glows blue for a few seconds then flashes red on & off 16 times, then the light goes out. Touch it again & it just repeats the sequence. Any ideas what I've done please? I emailed George & he said to check the cart was pushed right on (it is / was), the cart might need changing already done that), or the atty might need cleaning - only had it 2 days, would it need cleaning already? Apart from that, it's not going too badly - still on the same packet of fags since Wed with over half still in the pack Please keep the success stories coming - they're really encouraging

Hi all, Ordered the 901 starter kit extra from oksmokey on Friday night & it arrived today - am well impressed with the service BIL however has now decided to wait for his 'Smoking Matters' appointment before committing himself. > Him & me are going to fall out VERY shortly However, no probs - I've decided to have a go! I smoke between 3 - 4 packets of Silk Cut a week, I'm confused about how much of the juice to use. I understand about using a higher strength than needed & diluting it with the glycerine & distilled water, but is there a way of working out how much of each to use, please? I boobed because I had it in my head that BIL would need a medium, so ordered the high - obviously, this is way too potent for me so what can I do to downscale it for me, please? Do I mix the juice with the glycerine + water prior to filling the cartridge? How wet should it be? Once the cart has run out, can it be refilled in any flavour or do I only use 1 flavour per cart? If I go out for the day etc, do I just take my ecig, a spare charged battery and atomiser & some filled carts along with me to swap over if needed? Then refill used carts & recharge the battery when I get home? Is it really that simple or am I missing something here?? You experts must have the patience of a saint & for that, I'm really, REALLY grateful - thank you These questions must seem so ridiculously obvious to those who in the know but I'm still baffled by the whole thing. I need answers in words of one syllable, please I'm quite looking forward to having a go now - if BIL changes his mind, then tough Thank you - I'll go back to my room at the 'Home for the Terminally Bewildered' now ....................
