My sentiments exactly. Reminds me of those people who get covers for their leather car seats. Outrageous!
It does help when you have an itinerant sleeping on your back seat though  You are one itinerant who can sleep on my back seat any time you want Gill.

Never used them - perhaps due to many rubber-gloved years working in a lab. Three of my four 'proper' mods are Eleaf which seem to have near indestructible paint jobs anyway. The other is a Joytech Evic which is a lovely shade of red, but already chipped to buggery  . Despite that, I can't see the point in covering over a nice colour with a silicon skin. My sentiments exactly. Reminds me of those people who get covers for their leather car seats. Outrageous!

I'm getting wary of the medical profession endorsing it. Yes, it is safer than smoking, but nobody really knows of any health risk. So I think they need to keep saying "Don't do it".
As for switching from cigarettes as a means to lessen the effects of smoking, there is no doubt that vaping is safer.

It is a stunning device tim . Glad to be able to help. Just being a nosey bugga tim , but what, if anything, would you use to keep the wood in good shape ? It's stab wood Graham. It shouldn't need any after treatment. Although I'm constantly checking it for any shrinkage or cracking. Just my paranoia coming to the fore  |

In fairness. I have convinced the nice young girl who delivers the post to leave over-sized items (not signed for) in a special bin.
I had a lovely post lady who did just that djs , she would even let me know when she was on holiday, so I could avoid ordering anything during that time . . . . . the system worked a treat for us both. To my utter devastation she changed rounds several weeks ago. 
Our SO although local it's a real hassle to park, it also has very limited collection times - opens at 9.30am/closes at 2pm, which is useless to me and the hours I work - unless I bust a gut to get there during a break. Saturday is about the only day I can comfortably make it and then it closes at 12, which also suits the rest of the working population and queues can be dozens of people deep. On my days off, any post always gets delivered at a time when I'm out walking.
So now I have my ex post lady's replacement in training . . . . . so far so good.
I also have a new postie. I questioned why the last one changed the round, and was told that it's company policy to change their rounds. When I asked why, they said something along the lines of "That's how it is".
Also known as "Coz we want to, and we can,so we do, just to annoy you".  |
