Hi guys, I have a box of pre-made clapton coils I bought from a B&M a while ago. 0.60 Clapton - 24g and 32g - A1 Any ideas on the power I need to put through these, please? I tried them when I first got them and the heat up time seemed really slow. Would like to try one again in an OBS Nano. TIA The ramp up (heat up) time for any multi-wire coil is slow compared to single wire coils. Also, the cool down time is extended, resulting in 'after toke' vapour production. I find this leads to more frequent wick changes. Apart from that, What dr00g said.

Got it sorted , tried looking on fasttech for the size I needed and it came up with sex toys !! Honest.. So its a vaporesso nrg 5mil tank with a smok baby beast rba with a cleto 120 glass modified, sanded on a belt sander then 400 wet and dry , Of course you did
And with all that messing around cutting glass, swapping rba's etc. I can see you have too much time on your hands, and the interweb is your 'friend'.

Sorry to bump this, been absent ghostrider1971I had a problem with a Kangar mini sub clone once, which I'd taken the deck apart for cleaning, and when put back together, the pos post side of the deck twisted when tightened and touched the neg post side. A direct short! Took ages to see what had happened, but when I knew the prob, all I had to do was make sure the gap between the two posts was square. As you've taken the deck apart for the squonk pin, maybe the same happened?

One thing I will say (as mentioned by tonyb ), that 'washer' type insulator at the pos end will fly round the room if not held in place.

My Anna has favourite "tanks" (as she calls mods) to use with different "mods" (as she calls attys). She swears that some "tanks" " fire her "mods" better. Confused? Me too

I think "Big Tobacco" and "Big Pharma" will have us outlawed in the not too distant future. We will not get the privilege of a secluded perusing room. There's the sceptic in me speaking....

I was raised in SE19, so I support my local team, even though they are pants this season. And a fair few others since I have been supporting them. Probably not gonna go down well with thebishman, but..... come on you Palace!

Sorry tim I don't understand what a big Hairy carto, low resistance and juice consumption has to do with whether you (or in my case, my) favourite most satisfying flavours are. It's a pity that there is not a measurement for satisfaction and then there would be no need for remarks about how others choose to Vape. It was more a comment about how much more juice I use, since I discovered big (H)airy.........Oh..... forget it! Sorry to offend you

I use the same 5 mixes that I have done for the past 3 years or so now. The main (24/7) mix is Royal by FlavorArt and I have been using this since I found it was a mellow tobacco flavour. My next one is a 50/50 mix of Spearmint and Menthol. This is my "go to bed" mix which refreshes my mouth. The next 3, Apple, Tangerine and Lemon & Lime are used throughout the day depending where I am (study, shed or watching TV and are used just because they are different. The Royal gets made up 200ml at a time and 100ml lasts me for a month. All the rest get made up in 30ml bottles and they do me for many months. Especially the fruit mixes as they mostly get used on hot days. I have tried all the Custards, Creams, Pastry and Chocolate mixes and found them to 'orrible. Not to my taste at all. So although I have about 50 or so unused concentrates lining the shelves of my mixing cabinet, their only for show and to advertise that I am as daft as the next guy when it comes to wasting money. A month?!!!! Crikey, how I wish I never discovered big airy carto's......with stupidly low resistance......and incredible juice consumption......

ghostrider1971 The thing with claptons, and all the other over-built coils, is that they need a "ramp-up" to get them to temperature. Once there, they perform much the same as single wire coils. So, the thickest (core) wire is what the power is set for. To appreciate those types of coil fully, you need a mod with pre-heat, which gets it all nice and warm by firing at high power for a short time before returning to your set power. A DNA ideally, but other mods can do pre-heat. Cooling them is the real issue though..... HTH
