for the mega cartos, I use a syringe, fill it with just over 1ml, sometimes a tiny bit of juice seeps out of the end of the carto while filling, but it isn't much.
sounds like you're either overfilling, or re-filling the carto too early, ie. the carto still has juice in.
it's all guess work like.

I'm getting 3 refills out of mine.
on the 4th, I can notice a drop off in vapour, so I just settle for the 3 now.

Thanks VIP. I think I'm with you now.
So it's not the re-filling of cartomisers specifically, more the actual use of E-liquid across the board. It's no more dangerous to re-fill a cartomiser than it is to direct drip onto an atomiser.
So that would suggest you would recommend only to use either pre-filled cartomisers / cartridges?

I gotta say the syringe method I find very easy to do. In fact, I think it has to be the quickest method, for those with no patience - like me From start to finish, I'd say it takes 30 seconds to fill XL cartos using syringe.

We suggest using our cartomizers and do not recommend refilling them due to health reasons and risk of leakage. Hi VIP, I've just been a convert to cartomizers, and am curious to know why it's not recommended to re-fill due to health reasons - which health reasons?

The XL cartos from TECC, I don't think the condom method works on these. I got a blunt needle and syringe, you can buy them at cloud 9 vaping.
It works a treat. Just remove the top cap from the carto mouthpiece, then remove the other cap from inside the carto, and place the blunt needle into the hole and fill. I get about 1.3ml in, then replace the caps and its ready.
The carto i'm using now has had 3 re-fills, and its still working well.

Lilac, I sold my Mako a few weeks back, there was nothing wrong with it, just fancied a change, and got a Silver Bullet. I do agree the Tornado is a must no matter what mod you have, as they're so reliable. When all else fails, the tornado always comes up trumps. Mine are 6 months old, and still going perfect. Thanks for the battery info Lisa, I was thinking of getting the AW's for my SB, still undecided though. Not sure if the advantages are enough to warrant the extra expense. Maybe when my big lottery win comes in Pixie, not that I've tried them yet, but the mega atomiser and mega carts do work on the Tornado.

Lisa, Those AW high drain batteries on your site - have you used them on the Omega? I was just wondering what advantages, if any, they have over the standard 18650 batteries which the Omega uses.

I'm not sure if I'm going to get the Megadolon now Lilac I've had me head turned by the Omega. I've read there's going to be a black version, so that's currently top of my wishlist (along with millions of XL cartos)

the mega cartos are designed for the tornado, they extend about 1cm over the connector, so they don't sit flush on most mods. But with an adapter like you have, it should be ok.
I've read some folks have cut the plastic away from the cartos to enable their use on mods like SD's without adapters.
It's a regular 510 connector. They're really great, I've used other cartos before and the ones i had were a bit crap, but these are pretty powerful ( I'd say halfway between a 510 / 510LR) and the flavour comes through a bit nicer than from 510 atties.

Have a look here...The products are all dependant on whether you have the tornado, if you don't, they are half price from here. www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-tornado-products.htmlI've not used the Mega carts yet, but I do know they need the Mega atomiser, so you'd need to order both. I can recommend the Mega cartomisers. I got about half a days' solid vaping before it needed refilling. So 2 would last all day no problem, and at that price, £1.50, its a very good deal. I bought 5, and am that pleased with them i'm going to order a lot more while they are still half price. To refill the cartomisers, you need a blunt needle and syringe, which can be bought from cloud 9 vaping for about a quid.

The chargers work both ways on the Riva and Tornado, its the same connection. But the Tornado charger takes 6 hours, where the Riva charger takes only 2.5hrs to charge. So the Tornado charger will be good for a spare if nothing else.

The carts with the tornado are filled with tobacco of different strengths and usable with the Riva (and re-fillable with your own juice)
