Just as a quick follow up - everyone says their base it the clearest and doesn't taste of anything etc etc - obviously I can't demonstrate the latter over the internet ......... but I can provide a rubbish mobile phone picture to demonstrate the clarity . The bottle on the right is Alchem PG base, the bottle on the left is my new PG base  I'll try and get a better one tomorrow because that really is rubbish  |

 NEW! (24/08) I've got new batches of PG and VG base arriving tomorrow which were manufactured as long ago as last Friday so if you want to treat yourself to some really fresh stuff for the bank holiday..... Piratesvape
Don't feel too hard done by if you've only just bought some from us btw as that wont be any more than about a month old either and has been kept properly refrigerated, I could buy a small lake of cheaper stuff to take advantage of price breaks and keep it on a shelf for months but we don't - which is why it's just a little bit more expensive than some other places

I know most of you know us as ‘the place that sells Pixie Concentrates’ but our main business is actually selling Nicotine Bases and dilutants. Now, I’m not going to waste your time, if you’re just looking for the cheapest acceptable nicotine we’re not the cheapest and wont ever be so....... errrrr thanks for looking anyway HOWEVER we do have other things to offer. We are specialists in supplying nicotine base ready packaged for long term storage. All our nicotine comes in pharmaceutical grade amber glass bottles and in sizes that will fit fairly unobtrusively in your fridge or freezer. My aim for Piratesvape is to have a reputation for selling the best Nicotine Base and our nicotine supplier was chosen on that basis above any other. Unfortunately quality does cost but in my opinion it is genuinely worth a few extra quid over the Alchem bases and I'm actually putting my money where my mouth is to be honest because our profit margin is considerably less with this than Alchem bases - but I think it's so good I couldn't not sell it once I tried it. Uniquely we also offer 10ml sample bottles for only the cost of p&p so you can try before you buy rather than taking my word for the quality and if you order anything else at the same time they are completely free – I know a lot of people are worried about what the EU is going to come up with but never quite get round to doing anything about it due to cost and, lets be honest, memory failure  If you sign up to our Freezer Club it should help to spread the cost and help you remember! You choose how many and what size bottles you want a month and whether you want PG or VG Base, we send you a Paypal invoice on the 1st of every month, you click on ‘pay now’ and it’s in the post to you the next working day. |

I just thought I'd mention that with the Freezer Club you can put your name down for any number of 200ml bottles (and any combination of PG and VG base if you're so inclined), it doesn't have to be just one a month. I'm doing really it as an alternative to the Freezer Pack if you want to spread the cost a bit rather than an amount you'd get through every month The Freezer Packs are sent by UPS because it's actually cheaper than Parcelfarce not to mention that they actually get there when they are supposed to AND intact...... to be honest I think Royal Mail's small parcel service is outstanding but I have nothing good to say about Parcelforce at all. I'm going to start a thread in the Vendors section about our Nicotine Bases tomorrow as I've got some fairly big news and I've had a few questions emailed to me and the answers might help some other people as well |

pps and the fact that you can buy a 'freezer pack ' of nicotine is the best news I've come across in years! I never ever want to experience the mess that was me, last month trying to re-bottle my nicotine base for freezing! ^^^^^^^ Bloody Marvelous!  £69 for 1 litre I am SO saving up to order! It's a lot easier when you've got the proper equipment  I really must start a thread about our nicotine and I will BUT in the mean time, the packs seem to be going down well - I know if you just want a plastic bottle with a litre of nic in it I'm not the cheapest (but I'm not that far off) however, because I've been vaping myself for a long time now, I have a pretty good idea what we vapers actually want so we're concentrating more on glass bottles so there is less/no messing about when you get your order. Sending glass through the post requires a bit of thought if you want it to get there intact and I've put a lot of thought into the bottles/caps etc as well and that's where the extra £5 or whatever is going. I also don't buy a vast amount of nicotine in one go either and that's not actually because of any financial constraint. You do save a lot on shipping if you order a huge shipment but I'd rather order smaller regular shipments so the nicotine is always as freshly manufactured as is realistically possible rather than having it sat somewhere for 6-12 months before a customer buys it. I've also recently invested in some decent bottling equipment so I will have no problem coping with demand and it will also free me up to spend more time looking after customers and coming up with new ideas - I don't have any ambitions for Piratesvape to be a global brand I just want it to be known as a really good place to buy quality products, sold by knowledgeable people who give a sh*t........ and if it earns me a liveable wage as well then that's even better! |

I've had to turn the website off for a bit unfortunately. Can't you leave it working, but pop a message on your home page explaining that there's a delay in processing orders, due to personal circumstances piratesvapeuk? People are on the whole understanding, providing they know there's good reason . . . it's the not knowing that's the frustrating part! I may do, but the people who aren't understanding are the ones that wont read the front page. I may turn it back on later when I've calmed down but my customer service skills are being stretched to the limit with a few emails I've had today already, some of whom ordered just yesterday afternoon |

Just to let you all know, my little boy is off school ill the rest of this week so although I will be doing everything I can to make sure orders get out as usual please bear with me if yours is a day later than you expect It is very frustrating for me as well but he's 5 and obviously can't be anywhere near nicotine and family has to come first I'm afraid! In other news Pixies new Apricot Swirl concentrate will be on sale from tomorrow AND I have sorted out how I'm going to mix pre made liquid to suit her concentrates (and other ones too obviously!) Unfortunately I have had to put that back a few days because of my 'little helper' this week BUT I will be introducing them almost certainly on Monday next week. |

I'll be honest, the website hasn't been stress tested before (it wasn't really designed with that in mind!) so unfortunately one or two of you seem to be having problems Unfortunately there isn't much I can do right now so please bear with it - if it really can't handle mad rushes I will certainly sort it out for the future though |
