TJ is still the only person to have got a lime taste but I'm glad she now has what she actually wanted. I haven't been selling the batch she got the first bottle from since she brought it up and I'll continue only selling the batch that TJ has just received a bottle from just to be sure. So if you order Mint Choc Chip then that's what you'll be getting - I hope no one's going to be difficult and ask to try the 'Lime Edition' now though.....  |

Thanks River , I should just point out that the quantities River mentions are correct for the bases for concentrates that are to be 12% of the finished liquid. The bases are mixed so you just pour a complete 10ml bottle of concentrate in and shake SO you will get slightly less base for concentrates that need to be mixed as a higher percentage of the finished e-liquid. This is a review thread though so I will say no more but if you have any questions pm me or ask in the Pixie Concentrates thread in the vendor section |

The new 7.2% VG base will be with me and available to order from Tuesday of next week (18/05/15). This tastes of as little as the PG base (ie nothing) and has only the very faintest pinky tint to it. As with the PG Base a limited quantity of free samples will be available through the website from Tuesday as well - you will have to pay for postage however if it's all you're ordering but absolutely free if you order anything else at the same time)

Right, I'll not lie to you I've had a few teething problems with the premixed bases for Pixies concentrates BUT I think I've got them sorted out now . I've added one for 20-22% concentrates so if you fancy a bit of Mint Choc Chip with minimal fuss this could be your lucky day! I've also dropped the price to £9.99 for the 15% base and the 20-22% base is £8.99 (because you get slightly less), I was talked into the previously higher price against my better judgement but I've talked to Pixie a fair bit about it and she is happy with the lower price so I'm going with it So in case you've missed it; they are available in either 50/50 or 70/30 PG/VG ratio and 6mg,12mg and 18mg nic strength The 15% base is suitable for Kool Orange, Apricot Swirl, Midnight Treasure and Strawberry Jam Doughnut The 20-22% base is suitable for Mint Choc Chip and Raspberry and Apple More concentrates will be catered for in the very near future Piratesvape Premixed Base |

Well unfortunately that's the last of this batch of VG base out the door - I am however expecting a delivery of new VG base from Nerudia at the end of next week...... worth hanging on a bit for - even if I do say so myself  |

OK, TJ has sent me the PM and I have spoken with Pixie. As far as we know TJ is the first person to have got a lime taste from the Mint Choc Chip and Pixie doesn't actually posses any Lime flavouring either so it's definitely not a case of cross contamination. That's not to say that it's doesn't taste of lime to TJ of course and what I'm doing is sending her out a bottle of Mint Choc Chip from a new batch Pixie is sending out to me tomorrow - TJ may find it tastes the same but it's worth trying I think just to see |

Don't get me wrong it's actually quite pleasant but all I am getting is a distinctive lime background sweetness to Pixies Mint Choc Chip, I used a fresh syringe and haven't even got any lime concentrate that could have contaminated it when I mixed it? Not getting any choc chip at all although there is a cool albeit very slight mintyness to it. Steeped for 3 weeks upstairs in the dark box. Has anyone got this/used it at all? It's a lovely dark brown color and the nic was fresh pre-mixed jobby. TJ, Pixie has spotted your post can you PM me the batch number on the bottle just so we can see which one it's from (there have been 2 I've sold) and we can sort something out from there? I'm not going to hide anything in PM's if anyone is wondering and I will report back on this thread with what the outcome is, it's just easier initially while we sort out the batch etc if we don't do everything on this thread |

Well a garage is a step up from a shed  Fair point but show me a small industrial unit that doesn't look a bit like a garage and it will look like a warehouse that's shrunk in the wash It's what's on the inside that counts anyway - actually this was purposely designed to look like a garage because it's in a conservation area and the main building is Grade 2 listed so the only way they could get planning permission (and yes it has Class B1 planning approval) to build it was to 'disguise it', it's a lot more than 'just' a garage inside |

I signed the lease and got the keys for our new premises today - everything has been a bit spread out up till now but this brings it all together. I am very serious about what we do and it's a pretty serious product so it's always good to know you're not buying it direct from some random person's shed! Just to let you all know, after speaking to Nerudia yesterday I will have the new VG base in 2 weeks.
In the meantime I do have some of the Alchem VG left but not that much now so if you were thinking of buying some at the current discounted price I wouldn't think too long about it!
The new VG base will be on sale at the same price as the PG base by the way
