I can only guess about the new mystery nic supplier of whom you Speke. There's no mystery, it is Nerudia - anyone who had directly asked or requested a COA would have found out Going with them was quite a big risk for me both in product and financial terms but the quality of the base made it worthwhile in terms of what I want Piratesvape to have a reputation for. However........a bit of intrigue never hurts does it

Stocked up on Pirate's nic a few weeks ago. Heard about Fiber Freaks and Pirates gave the best information so that's where I'll get mine... when they get it in. Definitely one of the good ol boys. I keep forgetting about that stuff (still my favourite wick btw), I'll have to see if I can get some for payday week next week

interested in Premixed Base although I have nicotine in freezer and just brought a further bottle from piratesvapeuk in amber glass Loving the blue outercase (not sure what you call it) but stands and protects nicely in freezer. I am sometimes lazy and for easy use find it handy to have a bottle or 2 of Premixed base in Fridge so guess another order will be coming your way this weekend Lol, that blue foam is actually designed and sold for use in the construction industry but it works rather well for this as well doesn't it I'm just waiting on some childproof caps and twist nozzles for the premixed base (should be here this morning) which is why it isn't on the website quite yet - hopefully later on today though!

I wrote a sort of mini guide to the long term storage of nicotine base a while ago and i really should complete it and get it stickied but here's a link to the thread (Post number 49 but the whole thread is worth a read if you have the time, just make sure that you read to the end). Bulk NicotineThat's actually one of the best threads I've read anywhere on long term storage of nicotine base (and yes I read it all ) It would seem I'm doing everything pretty much spot on then with my freezer packs then in that the bottles are filled to where the neck starts to become cylindrical but not completely full to allow a suitable air gap for contraction/expansion, amber glass bottles, laser printed polyester labels that will survive living in the freezer........ and of course a very good quality nic base to begin with

I'm up to 4+ years with the nicotine base I'm currently using piratesvapeuk, well short of decades . . . . but ' frozen ' stored in amber glass, I can find no detectable deterioration. Although I have no means of testing scientifically. I know a few people who are using nicotine of a similar age with no problems but it's always good to hear of another As an aside I 'stocked up' myself a couple of years ago (and I wish I could charge now what I paid for a litre of 52mg nicotine then ) and basically due to lazyness I just stuck it on a shelf in my garage and........ erm forgot about it. I rediscovered it this January and out of interest I opened the package for a look - it had gone a very dodgy looking colour, not surprising after being sat on a shelf in a garage that gets rather warm in the summer, but in the interests of science I mixed some juice up with it. Perhaps surprisingly it was actually ok (slightly 'wrong' tasting but not unvapeable by any means) and seemed to be near enough the 24mg strength I mixed to as makes to difference in terms of vaping it. Now I don't recommend anyone follows my lead, and if I'd left it another 2 years it might well be a different story, BUT it does show it is fairly resilient stuff.

Any ideas about the usable storage life of this nic base?Assuming it is bought in your dark glass storage option. In a freezer probably almost indefinitely. I say probably because as far as I'm aware no one has actually tried keeping nicotine base in a freezer for 20 years or so. The standard wisdom is that it will keep for a long time if it's in a glass bottle and in a cold dark environment but over long periods of time it may become very slightly weaker. If anyone knows of a study where someone has kept nicotine base in these conditions I would be interested in seeing it too, I have searched Google extensively and asked industrial chemists and the answer above is pretty much the best you get .......

I don't think most vendors would unduly mourn not having to use paypal and pay their fees/put up with random account freezing/automatic refunds to the customer pretty much whatever the circumstances etc etc if it was to happen. Everyone offers it at the moment because customers find it easy and given a choice probably 9 out of 10 would use it rather than something else so there isn't much point offering a choice. There are however plenty of other reputable services available to process payments on-line.........

There are two companies I know of which produce the purist nicotine. One with Offices based in Switzerland and other in Northern Ireland. I can vouch for this nicotine base being top quality and you will not buy better. It is nice to see vendors who are happy to supply Certificates of Analysis and have traceability for their products. I would have no hesitation in trusting the quality of piratesvapeuk nicotine base. There are actually three now and this base is from the new company. They have brand new multimillion pound factory/research facility in the North West which I am lucky enough to have been on a little tour around and I'm not exaggerating when I say it is a little like Willi Wonka's Vaping Factory crossed with Space 1999....... a SERIOUSLY impressive place! The PG I have is from their very first batch and I've had nothing but glowing reviews from seriously experienced professional juice makers like Pixie who I've sent samples to. I only got a small sample of their VG but if anything I've had even more glowing reviews about it than the PG so I am hoping to be stocking it in the next few weeks. The down side to it is that it is expensive, trust me if I was just in this for a profit I would be selling Alchem base rather than this but once I'd seen and tried it I just couldn't go back. The proof of the pudding is in the eating though which is why I've done these sample bottles. Yes it is more expensive than some of my competitors but when you break it down into the amount you'd use to make 100ml of liquid it really is only a few pence. I'm happy to send out the COA as well with the samples if you add a comment saying you'd like a copy when you order a sample.

Is this the best PG Nicotine base you can buy? yup - but you've all heard that before haven't you! So you can cheaply see why I'm making such a fuss about this stuff I've put some 10ml sample bottles on the website, all you will pay is the £2.99 postage at checkout (if you order something else as well they are free!) BUT this offer is limited to ONE bottle per customer and there are only 40 sample bottles available Piratesvape.UK Linky

Excellent service piratesvapeuk ordered yesterday midday Nicotine and concentrates arrived 9.30am I'm glad it arrived so quickly (and safely!) I do try my best to get everything out to people next day if I can but it does depend a bit on when you place the order and how large/complicated it is Either way, every order should be with the purchaser within 2 working days at the most.

All PG starts off crystal clear, time, uv light and oxidation cause it to change colour this is why chemical companies ship it in opaque containers rather than clear ones and is also why it has a use by date. You are correct, however the PG base from Alchem which was manufactured in the middle of January according to their COA was that colour when it arrived in the opaque containers. I keep all my bases refrigerated to just above 0 degrees and in the original containers which are sealed until required and then pretty much bottled to order. I have seen allegedly fresh 7.2% PG base from all the main producers and this is clearer, I know that doesn't necessarily make it better but it is clearer ........ or perhaps it is genuinely fresh rather than the base that usually gets palmed off on vapers by the nicotine suppliers.......
