I'm not sure about the vapers tongue, but since sampling some of my early attempts at mixing I've been thinking that seeing as the concentrates we use were originally intended for use in things like drinks, icings and fondants etc., there will already be a certain amount of sweetener added to the food so I've been going through my mixed juices adding a couple of drops/ml of sweetener and it does seem to help remove the bitter aftertaste in some and also improves the flavour as well. Seeing as I'm inexperienced at DIY I wouldn't like to recommend something that works for me but may not work for you, so maybe I shouldn't have bothered with this reply Anyway somebody who knows what they're talking about will be along soon to help you out I'm sure Thanks vince01 Glad you posted and that it seems I'm thinking along the right lines. All these yummy flavours, yet I've been sure I'm not tasting them right, grrr. Will get some of the ethyl maltol ordered. No doubt I can add it to the already mixed bottles too.

Hi Does adding 1 or 2 drops of ethyl maltol help during vaper's tongue times too? Nearly at 1 month since started vaping, and sometimes tastes are suddenly much stronger and sweeter, but rarely. I love strong sweet tastes, and am finding eg with Capella Chocolate Toffee, and many flavours, there's almost a sour aftertaste develops in the background. This must be due to adjusting away from smoking? Drinking water etc. And adding a little ethyl maltol may remove that? Mixing Capella at the moment at 30/70, 30% flavour (was advised due to tank leaks to up the VG, to thicken liquid, but add 5% more flavour to compensate).

I often take 2 or 3 primer pulls, just to get the coil nice and heated and then do a long draw inhale. Normally if your tank is gurgly you aren't putting enough power through from your battery Thanks Pepperty Will keep practising. Have changed over to Subtank (from mini), as well. Even laid on it's side, with only one tiny hole open, mini is leaking loads. Are there any decent tanks that have airflow at the top, as that's where it's all leaking from? I remember Perpetua saying heat can affect things too, so will need to get the fan on some more!

Grrrr, leaking again. Today's einstein thought, lol, is that it might be how I'm vaping ... throat/lungs not strong, easily cough, plus am up to 24mg now, so often shorter (2-second) chuffs ... could be using the sub ohm tank the wrong way? Longest I can last is around 4 seconds. Slow longer chuffs keep the vacuum right?

Just ordered Maltesers and Banana Custard. Great prices, free shipping, and great comms too. Samantha said to just add note to order saying I want 24mg's, as the site isn't updated yet to include 24mg in drop down, so am looking forward to these arriving! Will post.

Is it one of these? Went to local Mass Vapour shop yesterday and Mass was using this. Don't know it's name, lol. Asking. EDIT: the answer, I quote "It's called the oxygen mod or the butt plug as we like to call it lol". Oh joy, wouldn't I choose that one to ask about, lol.

Thanks tim That makes a lot of sense. And no leaking so far, but it's only been in for 10 minutes; will update better later, but definitely looking good so far. Nice. Keep the old heads for re-coiling. People here may be able to do it for you if you ask nicely Thanks tim and that's really kind. Will stash. And the new coil seems to have done the trick; still no leaking, yay

There will always be the occasional fail with mass produced products kittyvape. It doesn't mean that the product company is bad, just that maybe the dodgy item got through quality control on Friday afternoon, when people are thinking other things. Update us on the outcome of a new head. Sometimes you will get 2 duds in a row, but that is really bad luck. Thanks tim That makes a lot of sense. And no leaking so far, but it's only been in for 10 minutes; will update better later, but definitely looking good so far.

Heavy vg juice will help kittyvape. But if you have an air leak in the tank, it will still leak. If it has only just started, I'd think it may be the atty head you are using is causing the leak. Unless you have dropped it and damaged something, a new one may cure it. Great, thanks tim Hyper careful about not dropping it, so am relieved it can't be that [watch me drop it, now I've said that, lol]. Definitely sounds like a plan ... new coil now, new mixes a.m.
