If the leak is from the air-flow kittyvape, it is usually due to either too little cotton, or an air leak into the tank. If there are no other leaks from the tank's o-rings, maybe you just have a dodgy head. It sometimes (too often) happens. Don't give up with the sub-tank though. It is a brilliant tank. I use it daily for work, and, as I am a carpenter, it gets a lot of abuse, what with being dropped and covered in sawdust etc. It has never leaked until that time I mentioned. Keep on vaping.... Thanks tim Great to hear how good the subtank is. Certainly sounds like it's been stress-tested in your job! Do you mean if the tank was faulty, air could leak into the tank eg through a very fine crack? I think you're right though, as the tanks are so well built, plus I'm very new to vaping and learning all the time ... going to mix up some thicker juice tomoz, and see if the leaking stops. It's just plopped all over the iStick again, lol, so the mixing's getting done first thing!

EDIT: went to new local cafe/shop that's opened in Middlesbrough (Mass Vapour) and they were brilliant. Mass advised that my homemade liquid is watery, and to mix it at 70 Vg 30 PG and add higher % of flavour to compensate, thus will be 'gloopier' and not leak. He was using the exact same tank and had had no leaks. That sounds like good advice Kitty . . . all my mixes are VG heavy and I've never had a problem with leakage with anything I've used, the warmer temperatures we've been having will also make your eliquids that bit more runny. Though I don't use any extra flavouring than the mixes for PG tolerant friends - but I do give everything plenty of time to steep. And making sure there's enough cotton as Tim says . . . . . Thanks Perpetua and great to hear your VG heavy mixes don't leak. It has been very warm, yes; hadn't thought about that, so thanks, as that really makes sense. That steeping thing I need to take notice of more, lol. Getting clear about the right balance to mixing, and a schedule of mixing a lot and weekly, needs to come in more. Still at the discovering what works stage, lol, but will get there.

Getting exasperated with leaking ... using iStick 50w and range of Kangertechs (aerotank plus subtanks nano/mini/6ml). Just got sleeve for iStick too, and this morning discovered juice had leaked into the sleeve, covering entire sleeve and istick. Have had to remove sleeve, and fully clean sleeve and iStick. Can't be good for the iStick/buttons etc? Really like the sleeve, as can grip more, especially with heavier tanks, but it filling up with juice isn't good. Am taking care to fill tanks while leaving a vacuum, blow through while tissue on any openings, not over-tightening etc, o-rings fine (all very new tanks) and can't work out why the leaks. Wishing the airflow controls were at the top rather than at the base, as everything seems to be leaking out of those. I like the airflow fully open, but with the subtank mini at the moment (the one that's filled the sleeve and covered iStick with juice) I'd closed it up one notch for now, but still leaked. Been noticing ceramic tanks coming out, that claim no leakage, which would be heaven. Having spent £80+ on Kanger tanks, which I loved from the start, really hoping there's some kind of solution. ICIGA BDC PRO CERAMIC CLEAROMIZER ... been wondering if this is the way to go, or the Lemo 2? EDIT: went to new local cafe/shop that's opened in Middlesbrough (Mass Vapour) and they were brilliant. Mass advised that my homemade liquid is watery, and to mix it at 70 Vg 30 PG and add higher % of flavour to compensate, thus will be 'gloopier' and not leak. He was using the exact same tank and had had no leaks. If you are using the rba on the mini, it may need more cotton. I had a leak once and it was because I got lazy with the wicking, as it had never leaked before. I re-wicked it, and it hasn't leaked since. They are very forgiving, but don't get sloppy with them. They need enough cotton to stop the flooding. Hope that helps. Thanks tim I'm not building my own coils, just using the stock coils. I'm thinking it must be that I'm mixing a bit waterily, if that's a word, lol, but will note your advice for when I do start, for sure.
