Back after a long while, mainly because I was in a happy place with my vaping and couldn't be doing with incitement to buy the next new thing provided by the enthusiam on the boards. Anyhoo, I've been happily using a carto tank and the odd Kanger T3 but now I can't find cartos to put in my tank . I even went into a few B+M stores and they'd never even heard of them. I know they have their disadvantages, but they are good for out and about and will not fall to bits when I chuck the tank on the floor and last a good while if treated well. So my question is are cartos dead? Are vendors finding there is more cash to be made on the seemingly never ending procession of clearos passing through the market? (Though the latest ones are very good, a massive improvement on the old Visions, I just wonder how long my investment in bodies will last when they keep redesigning the coils etc). Says hi to any who remember me btw

Cartos are a grate vape, IMO because they were designed for cigalike batteries, that are poor they lost that matching product appeal and with larger mods people think why not have a larger tank, carto tanks again not being mainstream these days the market has shrunk, but they are as good as they ever where. (Postmodern Smoking may still have some cartos left, worth a PM at any rate if you want some, Dave is a stand up guy and I can't say more than I trust him to be fair and honest with everybody.)

Hi Dom! Funnily enough I was having a bit of a tidy up/stock take of my clobber earlier and discovered a number of packs of Kanger and DC carto's - haven't used one in ages however. ( Would you be interested in the DC's? ) Have you tried looking online for Boge? ( I recoil/wick my Protank and iSub coil heads, so they're very economical to run for me as I'm not bothered with keeping up with the latest in non rebuildable tanks. )

Yup, still have some old stock, standard resistance, original Boge carto's kicking around from when I was a vendor. Available in white, black, ciggy colour or plain stainless. I believe that I'm running low on stainless, but feel free to PM me domesticextremist and I'll try to help.

I'm surprised that you have succumbed to the madness of rebuidables and sub-Ohm (I'm still trying to find out quite what that is), you were always one for the faff-free option I will ponder your offer and be in touch when the sun comes up again.

Thanks all for the replies, I'll resume research tomorrow. I think I'm down to my last two cartos, so things are getting a bit urgent.

I certainly am still chugging away merrily Dom and hope too for a few more years yet . . . . to get through the ridiculous amount of gear I've got if nothing else! And, I'm still very much of the faff free persuasion - ready coils are a godsend, our habit can be as complicated or simple as we choose to make it. The more current equipment I have requires little input on my part, which suits me just fine. Having coped with some of the early GG tanks a few years back, in comparison these are a doddle. So don't be deterred if you fancy trying something newer. Have a think on with the DC's . . . . . I've a number of tanks also.

Most people prefer to see if they have juice in the tank in order to avoid dry hits/burnt cotton = Cartos became almost unsalable once the CE4 hit the market -

I've never tried cartos. Might have to grab a pack from somewhere, just to say I've given them a go.
