I really cant see the point of it all, i guess its to stop kids wanting them. Perhaps its to make the smokers feel seedy and bad for asking for ciggies, i mean its going to hold the queues up even more now and everyone will be tutting What if they have run out of your brand, how are you meant to pick another one if you cant see them Bel nail on head "smokers feel seedy" havn't got a smiley for that No doubt Anne will find one Would have felt more comfortable buying a magazine from the top shelf not that i do that sort of thing of course

Just posted this last bit to a thread on the beginners board Wondered what people's views are on this I guess a lot won't know because they are analogue free so probably would not have noticed "On a side note been in two supermarkets today, they now have sliding doors on the cigarette/tobacco to hide the nasties
How silly is that knew it was coming but hey
Wasn't stopping anyone buying and the staff were like this is stupid we have to try and remember what door they are behind
bit like a quiz show "I noticed yesterday there was a piece in the paper about blank cigarette boxes, to which the big ciggie players said it would just open the doors to counterfeiters. As my teacher said at school Discuss

Martin Sorry to hear that about your lung mate But on a lighter note Friday night i know lads what to do tonight let's go round Martin's for a mini medical One of the blokes at work has one of those self testing cholestrol testing kits So he told me, everyone he showed it to said Go on then may as well have a check while i'm here Gone are the days of Trivial Pursuits and Pictionary Without hijacking this thread more Where did you get the kit from? Love this forum everyone's so friendly and i missed the banter when i was away testing yeah, it was freaky and scary.. but it's strange how life is.. I mean if that hadn't happened, I would still be smoking analogues, probably never encoutered ecigs etc, and never met all the amazing folk here etc, (probably wouldn't of spent in excess of £200 on ecig stuf too but thats a different thread lol).. but in a way it had a positive outcome, apart from constant worrying about it, though that gets less as time passes.. and yeah, you can all come round to mine:) we will have a ball!.. and we can even have competitions to see who has the lowest bp and highest oxygen saturations levels.. ahh.. now that's a party lol.. I got it from my local chemist.. its made by Kintetik.. but I think boots, llloyds, Asda and Argos both sell all the various kit etc, the oxymeter I got off ebay. Yeh i think i'm in that ball park re money spent maybe more but trying to look at the bigger picture for later on To bring it back on track to the original post in the last couple of weeks i've had chats with two doctors and a triage nurse The triage nurse knew nothing of e-cigs but was interested and the two doctors one a GP the other a doctor at the hospital were interested, knew of e-cigs and agreed that there had been no clinical trials but at no point did either of them say STOP and chase me out the room and tell me to stay with analogues. I just think it's a learning curve for all involved but no one is encouraging tobacco smoke (well apart from the Government for tax purposes) On a side note been in two supermarkets today, they now have sliding doors on the cigarette/tobacco to hide the nasties How silly is that knew it was coming but hey Wasn't stopping anyone buying and the staff were like this is stupid we have to try and remember what door they are behind bit like a quiz show

Hi Whufc71 I don't want to hijack Fashashs thread (though I have to say this has to be the most off topic forum I've had the ultimate pleasure of being a member of ehe) and yeah, I did the same.. I probably..maybe.. shouldnt even be vaping as my lung collapsed ( was in hospital for a week) which is was forced my move to quit analogues, but I noticed I was paranoid all the time about it, so bought a bp monitor and an oxymeter etc.. so I can keep an eye on my own vitals etc. but the first time I used the bp monitor my mind got me into an anxious state so it course it went up lol.. doh!.. so I breathed, relaxed... and tried again and it was fine.. the only thing now is I'm addicted to checking everyone else blood pressure when they come round lol Martin Sorry to hear that about your lung mate But on a lighter note Friday night i know lads what to do tonight let's go round Martin's for a mini medical One of the blokes at work has one of those self testing cholestrol testing kits So he told me, everyone he showed it to said Go on then may as well have a check while i'm here Gone are the days of Trivial Pursuits and Pictionary Without hijacking this thread more Where did you get the kit from? Hi Fagashlil There is already a lot of sound and great advice here, but I wanted to add my 2p too.. I have a home BP monitor which I got from the chemist for £10 and I've never noticed my bp go up at all with vaping, having said that I don't suffer with high BP.. Maybe your doc just doesnt know enough about ecigs etc, so it would be outside his comfort zone so to speak to really consider, may be worth talking with again next time you see him, and also I would of thought even with high bp smoking would still be worse than vaping. I was worried about not being able to quite with vaping as when I first started I deliberately ordered a lower nic strength (not knowing the true strength of juices etc at the time) but I found it still did the trick and I was still able to quit, even with a lower strength than what I was probably getting with analogues, because my body was still getting its nicotene hit.. soo.. obviously without overiding any medical advice.. just wanted to add my experience.. Hopefully, and It seems you probably will be able to, keep vaping as opposed to smoking.. Martin Martin I think i may order one of those At that price can't really moan I see it as a precautionary thing I don't have high BP (god knows how though) The only time it raises is when they try measuring it because i get a bit on edge thinking that constricting patch is not going to stop until my arm has exploded

Good to see you back whufc. It's football I'm getting allergic reactions to after last night Yeh i know that feeling after last night
Two more points dropped at home >Still waiting for my Virgin Vapors delivery Whufc, my overseas deliveries especially do seem to take the scenic route to get to me. I ordered Drunken Pirate Pudding & Creme Caramel in a 80/20 mix. And, a sampler pack of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Strawberry Shortcake & I think Vanilla Blackberry Swirl . . . hoping they'll be as delish as the names sound. I ordered Black Cherry Marshmellow, Vanilla Blackberry Swirl and Kona Coffee Milkshake
Think only the coffee milkshake hit the spot yesterdayDrunken Pirate Pudding is fab, Vanilla Blackberry Swirl is pretty good too but Creme Caramel and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough didnt impress me that much ...interesting to see what you guys think I've a feeling there may be a lot of various flavours in the swap/sell section soon
Anyone know how to multi-quote withoout having to cut and paste each quote

Did you get any antihistamines to try Whufc . . . I believe I remember Griz saying he had ' itchy ' issues when he first started vaping and a few weeks on them cleared up the problem for him as I recall. Yes i did get some and thought that was the way to go and then sort of acccidentally stumbled on the ecopure stuff and thought... no need Does limit options though But at the moment i'm really enjoying it so what's not broken i don't want to fix

Hi Perps Couldn't remember if it was you or Chrissie who had ordered from VV I found the Kona Coffee Milkshake quite nice not sure about the others Maybe i'll go back and try a ecopure base with that But there's so many flavours to try on the site that could be mixed with the ecopure Could cost me a fortune

Hi Gordy Thanks for the LF headsup last night They looked good so i thought i'd get in and hopefully use them at a later date Regards VV not sure it was the best sellers sample pack www.virginvapor.com/collections/organic-e-liquid/products/3-pack-sampler-best-sellersYes the ECOPure is not the cheapest i bought two bottles more today 2 x 10ml for £13.50 So not too bad Just hoping i don't go off the taste It's very pure so i guess it makes sense that you lose a bit in vapour and throat hit as it's VG So it's not a VG intolerance then for me I wonder if it's the flavourings but that would be very hard to diagnose.

Back after a little absence Trying to work things out juices wise Still not entirely sure what's going on But BREAKTHROUGH I took the plunge with some Intellicig's ECOPure juice Rich medium strength and all is good Was guessing as it's supposed to be quite pure it was going to be horrible or boring but it's actually very nice. Tastes a bit like toasted coconut or today it's tasting like a Nice (TM) biscuit or even a nice biscuit. Not the greatest vapour or throat hit by any imagination but it's working for me. Had my VirginVapors order arrive today (a week to the day from California, Not bad me thinks) Couple of the flavours ok but started feeling a bit itchy after a session, mind you i was vaping quite a bit to see what they are like. Plus point is Annette at Virgin Vapours does actually sell Ecopure liquid with flavourings So perhaps that's my next option PS still spending money like it's going out of fashion Thanks to King for the eBay headsup i got some Fusion razor blades for £5 less They are expensive but they are very good. and thanks Gordy for the LF offer of the DCT carto tank i bought a couple of them as well (not sure what to do with them but no doubt will get to use them soon) Making progress that's the main thing Still only smoking about 4/5 a day and spend the evening with my new friend ECOPure

Hi Karma Thanks for asking Had a bit of a poor nights sleep last night (totally unrelated) So was not a good day today I suffer with the effects of sleep depravation quite badly Sound like a real case don't I Went to Docs earlier on and explained situation, not my usual Doc who is quite strict but at the same time a good listener. Anyway Doc was a bit non fussed when i said i had given up smoking but then sort of tuned in when i mentioned e-cigs Basically said allergy test was a non starter, typical NHS saving costs, it's for me to do an elimination process. So i asked the big question "what's your view on e-cigarettes" he said i think they are good but you do realise there have been no clinical trials on them but i have been hearing good things "how did you find it" i said quite easy to be honest the hand to mouth thing and didn't feel like i was missing out on anything but then it went slightly wrong for me but still think it's the way for me. He asked if i was still interested in smoking cessastion and i said yeh of course and he recommended a local chemists who are supposed to be good guessing patches, inhalators and so forth I replied nah don't think that would work for me Said go away and experiment with juices and nic strengths but seemed very keen for me to go back and update on progress. So not a lost cause but looks like it's me who has to do the work I love paying NI every month so i can experiment for the NHS Anyway i'm back on the Riva at the mo purely because i hate smoking the occasional nastie and miss the taste of the juices Jeez why is nothing simple
