I'll try to keep this short
Yesterday was my ninth day in all going fine so far
I tried a couple of new juices that had been delivered.
About half an hour later i started to feel really light headed, quite sick and really really lethargic.
Swopped back on to one of the regular juices and thought i'd leave the new one alone
Anyway managed to just about last the day out at work and came home by cab as i didnt feel well enough to go on public transport.
Last night i felt really rough still tired and lethargic and did not vape much.
This morning woke up felt fine wnet to work had a couple of short vapes on an old juice same feeling again but so much that i had to come home from work.
This is going to sound weird but my head does not feel like it's mine. My skin has very little sensation when touched and i just feel groggy.
I'm not sure if my body is crying out for something or i've overdone it with nicotine.
Most of my juices are in the 18/24mg range which i now know from doing a bit of research is too high for an ex 20 a day smoker.
I slipped of the wagon slightly earlier by lighting an analogue to see if my body was missing something from one of those
On a plus note i had to put it out after two draws, the taste was disgusting.
I'm not sure what's going on and just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar.
As far as i know i'm not coming down withanything, felt fine when i woke up and the feelings started again after a vape.
I have today orderd some all VG, low strength and zero nicotine juices to see if its a nicotine or PG thing.
Just strange the first 8 dys were all good and now this.
I know our bodies change after quitting the nasties but last night was quite worrying and i didn'tknow what to do to rectify it.

I know I am no expert on changing over but your symptoms sound more to me as if you have been hit by one of the many bugs going round, some are really nasty and you feel very odd and ill and they can come and go - feel bad at night not so bad during the day, or just in morning or afternoon, as I said some very weird things doing the rounds....so I would rest up as much as possible and try not to worry to much, am sure someone with more knowledge than me about vaping and side effects will come along soon.
Take care

There are alot of bugs going around as Perp said. Hubby has been very on - off with it in the last couple of days, one minute he's fine the next he feels awful If your unsure perhaps you should go see the doctor, just to put your mind at rest.

The only thing I can think of is are you drinking enough water? Could you be dehydrated? Was the juice a higher strength than you normally have?
I've never really had any side effects with the e-cig (touch wood) but I know plenty of people do. If you are in any doubt about your health though I would suggest getting proper medical advice sooner rather than later. It may be linked to the e-cigs, it may not but better safe than sorry whatever is causing it.

I think it sounds like a bug, but you've had good advice, if it carries on then go and see a GP. What strength are you vaping now? I'm finding 10mg a bit too low during the day when I'm only vaping occasionally but perfect for chain vaping at night! It's a bad time of the year. Make sure you eat well, drink plenty of water and consider supplementing with vitamins

I'd consider a trip to the Doctors Whu if it continues.
I would be very surprised if it was any kind of reaction to the vaping, after 8 days, unless it's a particular flavouring or ingredient.

I agree with the bug theory as there is a lot going around, on the other hand what you described sounds like what happened to me a few weeks back when I posted about the possibility of Od'ing. I was sat at the computer and felt tired, light headed and headed straight for the bed where it span lightly for a while until the "head missing" sort of passed. I realised that I was probably using too high a juice so done my calculations again and am now on an almost half dose nic from what I was on when this happend I must say it hasn't happened again since!! There is a thread on the suggested nicotine strength based on how much you used to smoke and your average mils per day. Of course it could be a bug as others have suggested, but it may be worth cutting down the nic in your juices to see if that was the cause and also keep up your fluid levels

I'd go with the bug theory . . . as there really seem to be a zillion and one, doing the rounds right now. . . but I'd go see you Doctor Whufc, just to put your mind at rest if nothing else. Hope you feel better soon.

I've had similar a couple of times when I started. I used to always buy 24mg, but as I got more into vaping (tend to vape much more than I smoked) I noticed that I was getting similar feelings to what you described. I tend to stick to 11mg or below now. Even so, I still get the odd occasion when I need to stick to God's Own Air flavour for a while. Not very good throat hit though, unless you go on the underground I've also cut back on my caffeine as well. Used to drink lots of coffee and red bulls. I stick to one coffee a day now.

Sounds to me (and I'm definitely NOT a Doctor) , a wee bit like dehydration , so it could be related to the PG, I had heat stroke/dehydration once after I woke up with a hangover then went and sat in the sun for a few hours (in Scotland I might add) , I was really ill but a few pints of water and sleep later felt normal . It does sound a lot like how I felt that day but it also sounds like a lot of things , try drinking a few pints of water, try and gets a Doc's appt tomorrow , if it is something as simple as dehydration they'll either send you home with re-hydration packs or nought but drink some water, if its something more serious you might save yourself a scary weekend !

Kirsty, those re-hydration packs are great for de-hydration whether the cause has been the sun (in Scotland, i must have missed that ) or hangover You can buy them in supermarkets or superdrug etc, a good thing to keep in your medicine cabinet!

Thanks for the replies
Think i may give the vaping a rest tomorrow and see if anything changes (blimey no ciggies no vaping) just don't feel like either at the mo
I do drink quite a lot of water at work normally about four or five pints a day
I'm also a decaff man so no worries there luckily.
Maybe it is a virus just confused that i woke up feeling fine.
It was only that i stumbled accross one of the e juice seller's sites yesterday (can't find it now for love nor money) that actually gave a guideline of nicotene strengths compared to past smoking history that made me think i may have overdone it with the nicotine.
i've now seen the thread on here
Surely it would be useful for all the sellers to have a guide on their sites.
As a newbie i suppose many go for a high strength to make the transition as easy as possible but in the long run it could be too high.

I guess it won't harm to try a lower strength juice. When I first started vaping I vaped higer strengths in the morning/afternoon, then lower strengths in the evening. This was because I tended to smoke more when I first woke up. Now I vape medium strength & I ask James to mix it more towards the higher end of medium (18mg I think it is). Also as others have said, you could be getting a bit dehydrated due to vaping mainly PG. OR ot could be that you have picked up a bug. Hopefully it's just vaping too high strength juice

Thanks Hissie
I'm not sure whether i want it to be a bug and gone in a couple of days or too high strength juice and gone in a couple of days.
All i know at the mo is i don't want analogues or a vape
Not really a bad thing but will it last
See what tomorrow brings i guess

mmm another theory of mine you've made a big change in your body in a very short space of time could just be a reaction whilst it tries to readjust
