Hi and welcome to aaec, generally a very relaxed and friendly forum, but trying to sell 2nd hand gear at over 200% the cost of new is gonna ruffle a few feathers, generally prices on private sales in here are a tad lower than reasonable  water under the bridge n all that .. whats your vape story? got a favourite setup and juice you care to share? |

phatfil how are you getting your kanger coils last that long ?....I struggle to get one last a few days & im vaping similar juices as you....nothing bakery, custard, or tobacco, atm im on red astaire waiting for a few fruit mixes to steep. Even the 0.15 Ni coils are turning black after a couple of days use (not impressed with TC at the moment, ive gone back to kanthal) I tend to bin mine when they weep/leak juice.. Perhaps my coils are also going black?? i have cataracts so seeing that sort of detail just isnt possible atm?? but i also rinse out the coils between juice flavours, and have 5 on the go at one time with different juice (one started to weep juice last night/this morning - red astaire). the kanthal coils i have wrapped myself and installed in rta's all go black iirc or at least dark.. i dont think thats a sure fire indicator of a dead coil? go by the juice flavour rather than the colour of the coil perhaps? |

fwiw i got myself a Rega 'Planet' off ebay a while back for the bargain price of £50. I sat down with a few beers 'n pals for a vinyl session and ended up cringing at every pop crackle and skip from my 40+yr old collection.
I was gutted, donkeys years of cd and lossless digital music formats had spoilt me, there may well have been greater depth to the sound but all the drunken/stoned mishaps which have left my vinyl collection scarred with scratches n skips pops n crackles resulted in a cringefest of disappointment. To the extent i now regard my 5ft of album shelf space as 'object d'art' and a visual record of (bad?) musical taste of my teens/early 20's FULL STOP..

been having regular system crashes (handled by enforced shutdown/restart) this last week, had win10 on this puter for a few months now - dispaly driver issues after running the C&C generals unofficial V2 crack..
also projecting the display to an andriod TV puter employing miricast results in black screens under win10 while it worked flawlessly under win 8.. tho i have yet to check for a miricast update..

Hi folks, has anyone replaced the cells in a lappy batterypack? my ol sony (i7) lappy's battery pack is dead new ones are prohibitively expensive, and cracking the case reveals its a number of 18650 cells soldered together..
SO..... is it just a case of pulling the cells de soldering and resoldering new cells in place?? or is there a lot of gotcha's im overlooking??

didnt think it was evic mini knocking, tho your instance is due a fair bit of criticism for failing on you in the first place, imho its still worth an email/ticket you may get a favorable result.. I would argue your ability to ID the failed component makes you qualified to dismantle without voiding the warranty in spirit, especially since it was stripped After failing! |

fwiw markus the coil in my tfv4 (ni200-air) has been going for over 3 weeks, its had one soak/rinse before drying out at circa 140C on a tc mod when i changed juice flavour. the kanger Ni200 coil heads (old style horizontal coil) ive been using are standing up well too only 1 has died after use so far, 2 leaked straight out of the pack, but most have been in use a month or more, i dont vape anything 'bakery', custard, or tobacco, mainly fruit based juice, heisenburg, clara-T, and the £1 LiQuid Lemon sherbert are my ADV juices, though i have also been vaping thru 20ml of lady pink recently too. |

I assume that there must be a Strategic Environmental Assessment out in support of the Tobacco Products Directive somewhere amidst all the paper that the EU produces.. if so it might be an enlightening read.. are such documents in the public domain??

My ol lady (1976 honda 750 F1) hasn't been out of the garage in 5 years now ;( 2 years commuting on a low wage killed the joy of 2 wheeled transport for me, rebuilding the carbs after a superglue fix on the side of the rd, or the weekly head strip in the kitchen and not forgetting the fact I must be part cat as i have used up at least 9 lives riding wide on unexpectedly tight bends etc, the worst one however was when i got stuck between 2 articulated wagons with a diminishing gap on the M1 heading north, i just closed my eyes and opened it up, I got past em tho i can still go white just at the thought of it..
