forgive me being dim but whats the benefit of backstops?? dont they require you to cut legs accurately in advance of fitting rather than simply nipping off the excess after fitting?? Back stops behind the grub screws to clamp the wire without it getting cut by the end of the screw Ninja'd by Get Off My Cloud Ok i was being dim i was thinking about closed end coil leg holes not screw holes.. has anyone considered filling with a few slivers of silver solder?? or is that just going to melt n fuse with coil legs when vaped??

Im not parting with my chalice 3 clone, but i do have some 22mm drippers with B/F pins fitted that are surplus to my requirements.
1 X low pro black with blue splatter (complete with drawstring pouch and spares) 1 x Zorro black or silver 1 x zenith V2.5
all clones btw..
I would accept £10 fnf inc pnp for each

hi and welcome, fwiw i have bought nic base from piratevape, it arrived promptly extremely well packed too in a solid heavy glass bottle.. more recently i have bought from darkstarvapour.co.uk/ slightly easier on the wallet tho its delivered in plastic bottles.. decanting into glass for storage in the freezer isnt a major hassle tho.

fwiw mine died after a month or so AND a massive juice leak, I pulled it apart, cut myself deeply in the process and that left me with bits that i doubt i could reassemble.. you can source a new pcb from FT iirc if you need buttons your welcome to mine personally i would save the effort and time and buy a new mod. Its not an easy reassemble job.. £18 for an istick60 @ GB uk..

I shall check the www.laptopsandspares.com site out, i did ebay search for my sony vaio 4 cell battery (2hours life if im lucky before it died) and iirc £179 was the pricetag.. so its been running on a/c power for a couple of years now,, out of interest i cracked the battery case and had a look see inside which led to the original Q If i can source a battery pack for £30 i will gladly pay the premium but £179 FRO! (something right off)

Hi, its all very confusing i agree, but its worth persevering basically your looking for a better battery/box. We call em 'Mods' why? I dunno and since there is so much terminology involved who can be bothered to care why we call em mods we just do hehe. the istick30 suggested above is a very good basic mod, the battery is built in and can be charged using a micro usb lead and has the ability to let you select the output power measured in watts upto a max 30w.. using the sort of tank or atomiser (UK spelling) that will sit on a pen style battery i doubt you will go upto the 30w end and will probably be happy vaping at 10-12w. however if you decide you might like to try a different tank (atomiser/atty) the istick 30 will be able to let you try some of the tanks that will let you use the extra power take it at your own pace, ask any questions you like, WE ALL STARTED VAPING THINKING WTF?? and the mantra of this site is the only daft Q's are those left unasked..
