I'm with jlowdo, My LT is starting to do my head right in and I rarely use it now, choosing the Ego's instead. I seem to have a temperamental button. It started within a week or so of getting the LT. The odd occasion I would get a cold draw, ie: LT not firing up. It had nothing to do with the voltage cut-out after a prolonged press as I only press the button for about 3 seconds. It happened so rarely it didn't bother me too much, but now it's happening 1 in every 3 drags. Have you contacted the vendor? You may have a duff LT. 1000's have been sold, some will be not up to scratch. Not yet. I am waiting for some batteries from Moju Republic and a 510 to 510 adaptor so I can use my Stardusts (Re-coiled to about 2.7ohm) as all I have are decent 1.7ohm carto's. I have old Boge's which are rubbish and are way past their life. I would rather try other options first to see if it's the carto and/or batteries that are causing the problems before bugging the vendor. Granted, the batteries in question are the ones supplied with the LT so doubtful if its them...but they are Trustfire with a runtime thats pretty dire, so who knows???

Is that for the twin 18650 mod Mark? My parallel box turned up yesterday and last night I had it all sorted! Still waiting on the buttons to turn up so have to make do with a crap one or now! Nothing as fancy as a voltage display, but basic button and LED is enough for the time being. 3.7volts never felt so good, and with twice the mah to boot. (2 x 3000 in this case!) Must admit though I'm having issues attaching the 510 connector. I've temporarily drilled into the rectangular opening at the top and it's wedged for now, but I have no idea how to make it more permanent? I can't imagine filling with hot glue would keep it tight after prolonged use? What do you do? Looking forward to the reader in place. Hurry hurry!

I realise that the LT would lower the voltage, but I always set it to 3.7v and less and the problem still prevails. Oh, and even though I am regularly using the Ego's as well as the LT the batteries last a coupe of hours. Even if I was solely using the LT I would expect the batteries to last longer! All in all I'm not overly impressed with the LT. All my SR carto's taste burnt above 4v. I am waiting for an adaptor to use my HR stardusts in the hope they perform well on the LT and I can actually use that extra voltage, otherwise I fear I have made a mistake in buying the LT

I agree about shorting dangers and only put it in there for the pic as it was close to hand. It has been a subject I've constantly looked at since vaping and using the sat nav case wasn't practical as it doesn't fit in jeans/trouser pockets, and anything inside is free to move around. The packaging I used is a semi-rigid sponge and I used a craft knife to (easily) cut it. The cut outs are just slightly smaller than the bottles & batteries so everything fits in snug and won't move around. Obviously the LT is too long for the tin, but perfect for the Ego's.

I have, until now, been using an old semi rigid sat nav case for taking my vaping kit when I'm out and about. But after trawling ebay/Amazon for hours on end I had a flash of inspiration and found this: And I did this with packaging material we had at work: And if 2 batteries are needed instead of 2 bottles I did this: And if more stuff is needed I can do this: Sorted! Its a 2oz tobacco tin from eBay, which including p+p was £4.74. I paid a premium for the pictured lid as plain ones are a lot less. I really wanted a hinged lid, but wanted this pic more than that. There are 1oz tins available too if smaller is needed, but not all of them fit the Ego/Riva battery. I now have all I need for a night out, which slips in my pocket and which I don't have to worry about any damage being caused. Brilliant!

But of course, as Tim mentions above, it could all be side effects from quiting the nasties and in my case, purely coincidental. (I did suffer from headaches too, but extra fluid (water) cured that) It may also be worth mentioning that because the juice I've been vaping is sweet, I seem to be getting my daily 'sweet hit' and have therefore massively cut down my chocolate/sweet intake. When I say massively I mean that whilst smoking I could easily (and often did) consume a large bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk A DAY. Since my vaping journey began 56 days ago I doubt I have eaten a bar's worth of chocolate! I was about 15.5 stone then, and now I am 14.5! What a result!

I seem to get that sore throat akin to post 'heavy smoking on a night out' when I vape a high nic juice. Whether coincidence I also suffered from heavy lethargy problems, from struggling to get up in the morning to feeling snoozey in the afternoon. At the time I put it down to late nights and early starts, but I hadn't changed my routine since vaping. It wasn't until I reduced my nic level that I noticed the sore throat eased and I all of a sudden had endless amounts of energy! If I'm honest I was a little grumpy too, and snapped at my OH for ridiculous things. Similar to the mood swings when going cold turkey from the nasties.

Okay - so I missed the 2 posts above! Proper wick is just over twice this price and is linked in a different thread.

Multi-purpose....I like it! If you get bored re-wicking your stardust you could make a candle or 2! Seriously though - it would be interesting to hear what people say about this as its pretty cheap. I realise the coil heats up to quite a high temp, but would it disintegrate this wick?

Mate, is there any chance a 10ml or 30ml bottle of G Virginia could be knocked up for a special order or can I only buy multiple 5ml bottles?

Tim - glad to help mate! I lost interest in RY4 before that one came along and couldn't believe my taste buds were so shot compared to practically every other vaper out there! Now I know why its so popular!
Not tried the dekang so can't comment, but RSR has got me curious. Do you not find 6 weeks steeping too long? I'd be surprised if I could buy a juice and still have any left after that long?!? lolol

I will eventually, but I have 2 connectors to be getting on with, which are collecting dust whilst I wait for the slow boat to bring boxes and switches!!!!

OMG! I love refreshers! I didn't even think to try any of that flavour!
I've just started to try out my original vip mixes and I'm pleasantly surprised by the 555 and coffee. These were really good and flavoursome (Too much with 555 i think) when I direct dripped into an atty, but were really muted when using a carto. Now, after having a few weeks to steep I have tried these 2 again and they are really, really good! The 555 did have too much flavour, but I've reduced it by half and it's perfick! The coffee tastes very rich, but if I vape it for too long I lose the flavour and it tastes of a subtle acrid type smoke. Very strange, but great again the next day!
The menthol seems to have reduced in strength over time? It was great initially, quite different from pre-mixed but good all the same. Before, the smallest 'drag' would be rewarded with a hearty TH, but now I have to tug for a good few seconds before getting a muted TH. Tastes good, but the change is quite significant...?
There is much more to this mixing than meets the eye - I have quite a lot of flavourings now (ViP, TPA, Hangsen and supermarket) but am only getting on with a few of them. I don't think I will ever become fully self sufficient mixing my own, but it can be fun so will continue in small doses and keep myself stocked up on the fail-safe pre-mixed that I've found.
