Oh dear. I think I could be in trouble. I've been vaping for a couple of weeks. Before that, I was trying ecigs and received an email from a company offering a free trial. It was very deceptive, because there were three 'subscription options', all of which I opted out of. I just paid £4.95 postage for the trial kit and assumed that was it. Logged in to my bank account tonight and these b******* have taken a further £59.95 from my account. I've sent them a very strong email but I don't suppose it will do any good. I've phoned the bank and they DO assure me that cancelling my card will stop them taking any more money, so I hope they're right and you are wrong about that Roxy. But it seems my £59.95 is gone forever. I'd love to name and shame them right here but won't do so unless I get the OK from a mod. >

This probably makes me a bit boring, but I've tried four flavours so far and I have to say my favourite is good old fashioned Deluxe Tobacco .

Mazz the newbie here with a quick question if I may? How often do the good folk of Vapesville clean their batteries? I've only been vaping for a few days and to look at, my battery teminals (Riva 1100) look sparkly and clean. But, if I wipe around inside them with a piece of tissue I find a black deposit on the tissue. How do I know when to clean with alcohol? ???

Use some kitchen roll and a cotton bud (dipped in alcohol if you like) to reach in to those hard to get to areas. I used to do this, but my cartos kept stopping working right afterwards, they just got worse and worse. Then it was pointed out to me that using baileys to clean the end of the cartos, is not what's meant by alcohol

Thanks all . I've been looking in my profile to see if I can add one of those fancy 'vaping clocks' that so many of you seem to have at the bottom of your posts but I can't seem to find how to do it. Can someone please advise? I'll put myself down for 60 a day as I don't suppose there's a setting for lozenges lol.

Anne, I may be wrong, but I think Mazz, means do they use up the juice more quickly? If so, yes they do Mazz as they burn hotter. Yes sorry Anne/Chrissie, I wasn't very clear there was I? Yes, that is what I meant. When I filled a low res with liquid, it seemed to take far more than the medium, but it seems to have a lot more 'oomph'.

Hello all, I'm afraid I was rather ignorant and started a thread elsewhere without visiting the 'newbie' section and saying hello properly. Please administer a cyber wrist slap and accept my apology! Just to say hello officially and to thank everybody for their brilliant help and advice in getting me fixed up with some Riva kit - what a difference from struggling to to make my rubbishy old e-cig work! You are all stars! As it happens, I haven't smoked for about 5 years now. I kicked a 60 (plus) a day habit back then but have since been addicted to about £35 a week's worth of lozenges. Not any more! This is this absolute business so thanks to all again for putting me on the right road .

OK. Been vaping for six hours now. Got to say - I'm loving me some of this . I think I might be learning too. Low resistance Cartomisers - more welly than medium, but much more thirsty. Is that about right? ???

Crikey . That really is fantastic! E Cigs are in the bin and I shall be ordering another kit for Mrs Mazz next week when some more funds are in the bank . Just one question. I now have two cartomisers filled with two different liquids. But if I want to carry a second one with me, how do I stop it leaking liquid? Should I put the rubber ends back on? Or how do you folks do it? ???

Just ignore the instructions, they are only put there to tease The batteries will have a factory charge in them. Just put them on charge when you get chance. Go for it Fantastic news lol. Right. I've watched the video. Now to make some mess. Going to try and fill my first cart.

Well the good news is, my kit arrived today! Yippee! Full marks Jason - wow, how fast was that? The bad news is ....... it's teasing me! I want to try it. But it looks like I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow. I've just read the instructions and I have to give it an initial 8 hour charge, use for 20 minutes and then charge for another hour. But I have to go and do a 12 hour nightshift at 5pm so it looks like tomorrow for me . I take it this charging proceedure is important and that I must behave myself ( ) ?

OK. Just placed my first order . I've gone for the deluxe kit and two 30ml bottles of liquid (deluxe tobacco and 555 - I'll try a pudding next time ). Couple of quickies - if I understand correctly, Jason will send me two packs of cartomizers with 5 in each (is that right? ???). Now obviously they can be refilled but .......... 1) How long does each one last roughly? 2) Does one need to be refilled with the same liquid each time? And batteries ......... 1) How long do they tend to last (per charge and lifespan) 2) Should I buy a spare do you think? Many thanks
