The fairly empty shelf is the one with none tobacco e-liquid as you can see not taken the plunge on much of it yet but am sure that will change.. There is a decent sized bowl tucked away in the lid so a handy thing to use for filling up. I think in future I will make sure I take my bumf I typed up for hubbys work on e-cigs so if I see someone smoking I will be one of those pests and hand them a sheet - they can either read it or bin it, but at least they will have the info......people will end up avoiding me when they see me out in the village

Well done, you stared yes but that's nothing but you didn't give in as deep down you are truly a non-smoker. I just vape and vape till the craving passes and it always does. Pat yourself on the back you deserve it

Well today I saw two people who were smoking, the first walked past me and all I could think of was should I tell her about e-cigs, the second was actually having a last drag then putting it out in the ashtray before she went in Sainsburys. She looked up and smiled at me, total stranger but oh boy it took all my self-restraint not to go up to her and say about e-cigs, I actually found my hand was going into my bag to get mine when she walked into the store. The smell well must admit I never even noticed it its been a beautiful sunny day here with a bit of a warm breeze so I only presume it was blown away from me or as yet I still class it as normal, but not even for a second did I wish it was me having nastie, it really amazed me, literally all that was in my mind was they need to know about e-cigs.......told hubby and he just cracked up with laughter at that I find I put one in my bag when I go out same as I did with the nasties but never actually feel the need to use it when out ( ok not been out much since going on them and never for long just to shops and back ). I do still get the cravings for a nastie but thankfully they are slowly becoming less and less. What I do love is if out in garden and craving hits can just grab my Riva or whatever I have brought down with me and take a couple of vapes and carry on doing whatever I am busy with. I used to get so annoyed when I had the craving and 'had' to light up a nastie then of course smoke the whole thing, it was such a waste of time and usually didn't want the whole thing but of course 'had' to smoke it didn't I. I found in a charity shop today for £2.50 a set of stackable tray which holds all my e-cig bits and bobs perfectly, up till now had them all in a medical box and had to dig around for what I wanted, this is least is better, not perfect but for the price considering its brand new not complaining, can just throw a small scarf over it to keep out the light. I can just see at a glance which tray I want and slide it out so much easier than before.

Well done and I totally agree with the others as soon as you get up grab your e-cig and have a vape and you shouldn't have any withdrawal symptoms. Remember any thing like a sore throat could be your body starting to do a clear out of the nasties but if you have a decent nicotine level in your e-cig you should be ok as far as nicotine withdrawal symtoms go. I went from 18+ a day to zero nasties but by golly did I vape my head off that first few day. I now usually grab e-cig sometime within first hour of getting up and vape then on and off throughout the day when I can.
You are doing fantastic, as you have said don't pressure yourself there is no race you will just find one day you reach automatically for your e-cig rather than the nasties and no even realise it.

Amazingly since I stopped I have not been around anyone that does, even out side the shops no one is there smoking - usually lots of people, but then has been cold or raining. Nothing would make me touch one, well not unless I had nothing to vape for a couple of days then craving for nicotine might get me, but as I know can get a disposable at Tescos and someone mentioned Esso garages sell Jasper and Jaspers - so I would try these and other places before I touched one. Will be interesting to see how I do find the smell when I do actually see a smoker around.
I have got an unwashed ashtray wrapped in a plastic bag and shoved in a cupboard ready to bring out if I really feel I am going to break and go and buy some, but not needed to go near it yet and don't fancy opening up the bag, thought actually turns my stomach but I think I will leave it there a while longer then one day hopefully will throw it out still wrapped in the bag. My doctor thought its great I am a non-smoker ( her words) and thinks e-cig is a great way to stop. She admitted she doesn't know much about them but feels they must be better than nasties so is very pleased with me.
Got my fruit bushes in and what is so good is not stopping to have a nastie break in the middle of doing things, it really used to annoy me having to stop to smoke but I always gave into the need, yet never thinking well just do not have one, its was like I was hypnotised, it called and I smoked it. You look back and think how did you let those white sticks control you all those years. Yet I never feel my e-cig is doing that, I vape when I sit down and relax don't stop to do so.

Getting back to Perpareathome's original post, a mate of mine who vapes is flying to Australia, tomorrow as it happens. As others have said, airlines vary so it is necessary to check with whoever you are flying with. She is however taking a copy of the email she received back from Aussie Customs saying she does NOT have to declare she is carrying an e-cig with her on arrival! Australia itself has a really quite bizarre and schizophrenic attitude - you can get any hardware you want and there are e-cig vendors selling e-cigs perfectly legally over there. They outlawed the sale of any nicotine liquids so what you CAN'T buy is e-liquid with nicotine in it, the vendors can only supply zero strength. You CAN however import it from elsewhere perfectly legally AS LONG as it is for your personal use and you don't sell it to anyone else, so this is what Aussie vapers are forced to do. So at present the really crucial thing to remember is to take as much e-liquid with you as you think you will need for the duration of your stay - which you are perfectly entitled to do. See what I mean? Downright daft. Thanks for that, obviously when I go out there I will check the regs again then. As to the second hand smoke causing deaths only time will tell on that if they ban smoking completely and if people still die of lung cancer and other things they say are directly and only caused by passive smoking - don't get me wrong I do believe in harm being caused by passive smoking but to read some blurb that is put out mankind will basically live forever if smoking is banned.

Hi and welcome, I was exactly liked you, it was the one thing I felt I was in control of in my life - of course they controlled me but its not how you feel when you are using them. I never wanted to stop but I knew family wanted me to and also that one day health problems would kick in from it so I bought a lookalike thinking maybe I would cut down a bit and for me the one I chose was perfect I used it and never touched another real one again. I do think it is down to finding something that at the first will replace a real one fully - vapour, taste, how it feels in your hand. I will be honest if I had gone straight onto a Riva I would never have given up as it is not like a real nastie but after just two weeks using my lookalike and then finding this forum I realised I was ready to move away from the lookalike and now had the Riva two weeks and love it, but I still I admit when I really get a bad craving for a nastie use my lookalike, its satifys me then when the Riva won't nor my little SD Keyring ( great for out and you want a stealth e-cig). I am hoping as time goes on I will want to use my lookalike less and less but admit its the taste of it, its for me, the nearest to tobacco I have found so far.
So my personal advice is find an e-cig that works as a substitute and if you are as lucky as me you will find one that you find gives you the exact same pleasure as a nastie does.
Good Luck

Well last of the Whisky Cream has gone in - gone through the whole 5mls since Saturday, not used a full bottle of anything else yet apart from vanilla tabac and that lasted longer than a couple of days......guess I love it so much I am vaping it much, much more.
Roll on Thursday when I can order more and this time it will be a 30ml bottle.
Put it aside to use occasionally to make it last and have just tried the cocomel again, now after a few days steeping I can taste the coconut as well as the cream, reminds me of a bounty and even though I am not a coconut lover I have to admit it is nice.
Not tried the other non tobacco flavours yet but think I will put some in on atomisers and try them as now taste buds are behaving again and giving me the delicate tastes I think I might prefer the non tobacco flavours except when I still get the 'i want a nastie' craving.
I have to admit I know deep down I am still a smoker who just hasn't had a nastie, I feel if I was to dare try one I would be back smoking them, so I must never, never have even one puff. Maybe a day will come when I wake up and not think of a nastie but its not come yet. Its not that I find it hard not having one, vaping satisfys me totally but I suppose the habit of being one for 35 years is deeply ingrained.
Oh well better have something to eat then get out into the garden and plant those fruit bushes.
Hope everyone is feeling good and weather ok where you are - here its overcast but not cold.

Got to admit the whisky cream at the moment is most definitely my favourite, I have been constantly vaping it since yesterday - going to have to buy some more, and there was me thinking I will not have to buy any more for a few weeks. Just my luck Jason has it on weekend special this weekend but I am broke till the weekend so will miss out Hubby picked me up a bottle of gycerine from the chemist before I read your post Chrissie - £2.95 eekkss a bit more than Boots but it was further away. The awake 30+ hours for me is no uncommon its just part of me I go through phases when I sleep to much and other times when nothing puts me out, and I mean nothing. A few years ago I had to have a light anaesthetic to have an abscess removed and was going through one of my wakeful periods and they found when they gave me up to the limit that I just would not go under, they had to remove it under local. Its all part of the my condition - I did fall asleep around 10.30pm and didn't wake up till just after 4pm Sunday afternoon. Longest I have stayed awake is 57hrs, but although awake I feel as if I am moving in slow motion after about 32hrs before that am ok. Must remember to parcel up a Gamucci cartomiser as Jason has kindly said he will have a look and see if any of the adaptors he sells will fit it, only way really to find out as I could buy and buy and might never get one. Then if he does find one he can let me know and I will buy it from him. It will be good if I can get an adaptor as I have so many of them and can use them then on Riva and save me having to buy any more cartomisers for a bit. I have washed it out so hopefully should be dry enough to post off in the morning. Well its nearly 3am and I am actually tired again so hopefully will sleep just a few hours as if its nice I want to get my fruit bushes into the ground as I noticed one of them is actually starting to bud, and really should not be moved but its in a container with 1o other bushes where I placed them when they arrived in December and have only just got the ground ready for them. One last vape I think - of the Whisky Cream then zzzzzzzzzz Night night all

I think you will be pleased with the SD Keyring, I got mine Saturday and have to admit I do enjoy using it, gives a different vape to the Riva but one I think I actually prefer so going to have to get another one so have two batteries. Enjoy

Aw Alvoram sorry to hear about your echomiser as it is nice -such a smooth vape as I told Jason. Well SD Keyring arrived this morning and so charged it up and had a go, oh I like it, smmmmmooooth totally, automatic battery is ok as that is what gamucci is, and my new jucies - so have now tried the famous cocomel - like vaping cream ( which I would rather have than chocolate any day of the week) soooo very morish. Out of the 5 sample pack only other one I have tried is whisky cream, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy I LOVE it. I always had whisky with coke or orange as my tipple of choice and of course being on rather strong pain killers these past 10 years drinking has been a no -no I missed it, never was a great drinker, one or two a night was more than enough and that was singles and small ones but I did enjoy it and this has brought that pleasure back, wonderful. Hubby says its the strongest smelling juice so far and to him its smells like coffee. I bought my first menthol juice so will see what that is like as menthol has always been a flavour I like the smell of but hate the taste and was the reason inhalators never worked for me as after the first few puffs all I can taste is the menthol in them but I know many on here have said its totally different vaping it.
I still have the cherry cola I got last week and as yet have not tried and I do like the Liqua Original Smoke Juice Tobacco flavour but unfortunately its out of stock and I only have a tiny bit left so keeping that when I really want a tobacco hit. I have the grand total of 16 different flavours but not tried them all yet.
I don't get out that much to pass the word but hubby is being my ambassador for e-cigs by slowly telling everyone in work who smokes when he is on a round with them about them. So I am going to pass all the business cards I get for him to pass on. Today when he was dropped home the guy who did so popped his head out of the van and told me how hubby is singing my praises on stopping the nasties and the e-cigs have worked so well with me. Everyone wants a lookalike at first and so hubby has told them which one I used as they are impressed at me using it and stopping straight away, so I have told them they can pick up a disposable from Tescos but they want info on the Gamucci, so hubby asked me to give him all the details so will print up and information sheet on not just the Gamucci but some of the other ones whose starter kits are around £35 same as the Gamucci with the places you can buy them on-line and of course put our dear suppliers on it. I Know some people found the E-Lights good but only other lookalike I have tried is the nicolites from Tesco's as my local one doesn't sell the Motive 10. There are over 100 delivery drivers in hubbys firm and over half of them smoke. The one in Argos says no nicotine so unless someone really only wants to basically go cold turkey but have something in their hand/mouth I don't think that is a good one to start with, and its more expensive.
Am sitting here as I type vaping on the whisky and cream, its feels almost wrong to be having a whisky vape in the afternoon. Must try the cherry brandy again, I loved it at first then taste buds changed and it tasted awful, same with cherry pipe.
Oh yes how do you turn the Riva off? I should from now one only have SD Keyring in my pocket or bag when out but handy to know if I am going out for the day or longer so it doesn't accidently get turned on. My next purchase will be a clearomisor, although will have to buy two to see which resistance is best for me, but they do look nice - gosh there is just some many things that look nice even if you don't actually buy new e-cigs, all the bits and bobs that fit on them look so good.
I don't have that many nail polishes so have just written names of juice in cartos on tiny piece of paper and selotaped it round them.
Hubby is going to pop out soon to pick me up some glycerine from chemist as I do have some in but its in the tiny bottles from baking aisle so not sure if its suitable as I bought a bottle of juice, one of the first that is 24mg which is to strong for me so hoping by diluting it in VG it will feel better, not blow my head off. Its funny most of my flavours are Griswalds small bottles so 20mg and they are fine, as are ones that are 18mg, 16mg or 12 -16mg yet that extra 4mg makes me feel my head is going to explode or eyes pop out my head.
Just realised I have been rambling on here for nearly two hours - not typing continuously of course.
I should have been going out to a posh do tonight but as I have now been awake 33 hrs I don't think going would be a good idea as I could crash at any time, so annoyed was looking forward to it and even bought a new dress and paid for it tickets for the do, its a fund raising event so no getting the money back, ah well - hubby said we will go out of a nice posh meal so I can wear it before I go to see - are you ready for this - the Osmonds at beginning of April, he is not going to it he couldn't sit through a full concert by them but then he is off to see Derren Brown ( again) at the Lowry in Manchester in a couple of weeks and I will not be going, went to one of his shows but I am not a fan by any stretch of the imagination. but we will book somewhere nice before or even afterwards. I used to love them but then never came up to Glasgow sadly so now they are coming here I just have to go and see them and fulfil my childhood dream of seeing them live. I wonder if I can vape inside? Not in the auditorium I don't expect that but in the entrance or the bar? Don't know if I will have the courage to ask so might just have a sneaky vape in bathroom during the interval.
Well bored you all enough I better stop before this becomes a book
Have a great evening folks

Alvo don't feel guilty, it wasn't as if it was a large amount, can still use the cartomisers not as if they are wasted.
Well bitten the bullet and thought before I spend anymore money I will get my SD Keyring ( I like the eclipse but thought it might be better getting something I can use with most bits and bobs I have) so its ordered and have ordered a small cocomel, got to try it after all the talk on here about it - went mad and got the 5 samples for £12.99 so apart from one flavour I like ( vanilla tabac) all the others are new and hopefully they with what I have should do me quite a bit.
I received my echomiser today and have to admit I like it. I found at first not much taste or hit but as I continued to use it they both came and it definitely seems a smoother vape. I ordered the needle bottle tops to fill it up and the certainly made it very easy to do so.
So that is it no more nice shiny things now till April or even May now till finances are under control but at least I should have no excuse to want to buy an analogue.
Oh been a gorgeous day today, temp went up to 19C here and sun was shining, a glorious day.
