what size wire/wraps did you use for what ohm ? out of interest....i can recoil standard occ head 0.5,still waiting for the occ0.2 ni200 heads on order, but just got a newer subtank with the vertical occ head and wondered about doing that style either kanthel or pref ni200 cheers russ Right so I done 9 wraps ni200 26gauge/.4mm and it come out to .12ohms but I think 7wraps would be better so maybe 7 wraps around 28/30 gauge would be a bit better for your .2

kittyvape Yes the new RBA the one with the holes in the sides for wicking will fit in all Subtank Mini's and the Plus. Yes but not in the v1 subtank, sorry I'm a little confused as the v1 subtank rda is what this thread was about

myepack sells them and as far as i know the new RBA base fits the old subtank mini The new rba's won't fit the 1st subtank (6m)l as they don't have the little chimney on the top of the rba. kittyvape doesn't want one for the mini

I did try with kanthal but the way the cotton needs to be through the holes I couldn't get the wicking right, it's really fiddly

Awesome Jerri, your mad doing it by hand! You'll be doing clapton coils before you know it To be honest. I didn't realise until after I'd done it and checked Google to make sure it looked okay that it was normally done with a drill. I thought it was done by hand. A friend won some twisted coils and claptons last vendors day and we were talking about it earlier as she'd just thrown the twisted coils in her freak show rda and was amazed at the clouds and flavour. So I just thought I'll give it a go. Ahh ohh well you know for next time it looks as neat as it would be with a drill, must have taken you a while

150Watts is the max for 2 VTC5s. The 35Amp purple efests are really 20Amp, so 100Watt max for 2 of those. Agree with the best option being the VTC4s at the moment, unless you really want the extra capacity and go for the VTC5s. I never advise going above the CDR as we never know how long a pulse is, with some cells it can be as short as 0.7 seconds. Thankyou Ripshod

Whaat, tell him straight banditruss haha! Ahh I tried, they'll be 100x safer, if those Efests vented and blew up because he went to 120w he'd wished he payed the £8 extra, I'm not saying they are going too but I can't say they wouldn't either, safety comes 1st, it's just not worth the risk. That's why I got them and I'm going to get another pair too or some vtc4/3s, maybe he should invest in some of them instead, they put out the same 30a continuous but a bit cheaper Vtc4s = 13.50 pair Vtc3s = £9 pair

I know if he got vtcs banditruss, then he could go upto 150w so he could basically use the whole 200w as anything above 150w is pulse mode
