Kudos to easye-liguid - they told me to keep the items and they'll send out the correct ones. Result Now I can try out the double-barrelled Vivi

Will the cheap ones knacker the batteries even if turned off when the green light comes on? They're supposed to drop into trickle/maintenance mode when fully charged, but some of the cheapy clones that are sold as Trustfires and the like don't actually work right.

Yep, every time one of my mousers croaks it, I'm a bit choked. Then I think of the cat-shaped hole in my life and I seek out another one. Actually, half the time the replacement cat just turns up, sooner or later. I've had moggies for more than three decades now and every one's been a character.

NOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo their back in Watford (school kids) for weeks its been a pleasure to drive, now I have to share roads with all the mums that have kids incapable of walking, pointless 4X4s and people carriers, roll on the next half term Well, living in the sticks, as I do, I see lots of school-run-mums and their broods (many of them in 4x4s too, but it's the countryside). I absolutely see the problem, as many of them have a 5mile or more trek which is horrible in the rain/snow/hail - even in the summer it's not a picnic every day if you have to do that. However, there are in fact some kids who do cycle the distance every day - my neighbour's kid is one of them. No; my problem with some of the schooly-mums is the sheer bloody dangerous way some of them drive. They scoot along the back roads at a good 20mph above what is safe and to top that, I've lost count of the times I've seen their kids unsecured in the back seats. Stupid, stupid, b*****ds.

Last week I ordered a Vivi Nova just to see what it was about and hoping to get a rebuildable one that might be cheaper to run. Silly sods sent me someone else's order - a Vivi dual-gang clearo and an Ego 510 cover piece. I noticed their website was down for a few hours today - I wonder if things are going smoothly over there.

Hmm.... well, I can only speak from direct experience and I know for a fact I'm breathing better and have more stamina than I did six months ago. I doubt that my airways are restricted all that much. Now, the damage that 40 years of nasties did, that's another thing altogether. Another thing; I find it scandalous and outrageous that an NHS site blindly reprints the Mail drivel as if it's gospel. Just shows how stupid /cynical /bought somebody there is.

Bet this study isn't reported in the Daily Mail & the Sun anytime soon Scary stuff that the toxins in 1 cigarette are equivalent to 6/7 months of vaping Bluddy'ell! I knew they were crap, obviously; but I didn't know how much crap I'd left behind compared to what I'm doing now.

Been there, done that Blue. I now keep a SD Keyring in the car for such emergencies. I don't know about other people, but I find that if I can't vape for whatever reason, it's not such a panic as being unable to smoke was. Good luck Exactly the same for me. I stick my travelling pouch in my pocket when I'm leaving the house; it's got two Ego batteries, a couple of cartos and a 10ml e-juice bottle in it. A couple of times I've forgotten it and had to survive several hours without any form of vape and the thought of smoking a stinky just makes me totally swerve it. As you say, it's survivable and the second time it happened, no big deal. Makes me wonder if I'm somewhere further along the road to quitting nic entirely at some point - which was my long term intention anway.

I knew it was coming up, but it slipped by a couple of days ago, so used am I to simply vaping now.
From Silk Quit: Six months, two days, 13 hours, 27 minutes and 14 seconds. 9328 cigarettes not smoked, saving €932.59. Life saved: 4 weeks, 4 days, 9 hours, 20 minutes.

I used to love my bike, never go anymore It's lovely going out for a ride though Just blow the tyres up and get out and do it I've always been a total petrolhead (cars, motorbikes, etc) but have nearly always had a bicycle stashed somewhere. I've gone through spells where it's not been used for years, but eventually I get it out again. It's healthier and dirt cheap to run one - so cheap you hardly notice the cost. Mind you, these days it's an electric bike because of knackered knees, but I still get some exercise from it.

I don't know. When I fill up with some coffee and vanilla cream and drip just four drops of menthol into the DCC, it's just like sucking on a mint choc-ice To be honest, then I really don't feel hungry for a real one, so there's something in it.

Out on the bicycle down the country lanes to the small town on a sunny Sunday afternoon. People smile and wave at you, and you smile and wave back and say hello. Easy on the eye summer dresses, backlit in the late afternoon. You don't get that in a car.
