Thanks shiny, very much appreciated - I will have a good look when I have the mod to hand, there may be a clue in there, sometimes these problems are from accidental button pushing!

Nice to see another problem solved. There may be some people out there who have not made a similar mistake, Pepperty, but I'm not one them! The other day I wondered why my favourite atty was flooding like mad just after I'd rebuilt it, then moved my keyboard to one side, to find the chamber cap lying under it!

I've tried a sampler @ 4%, tcg69. I really liked it, thought it was tastier as a standalone than the Capella, can't say how well it plays in mixes, though (yet!)

Has always worked fine, then suddenly, it would not turn on. Took the battery out and replaced, the mod came on immediately but the display just cycled from 1watt up to 70watt, then stayed there. Would not fire, would not adjust wattage, would not turn off with 6 clicks. I tried it without a tank installed - it turns on and off fine and the wattage adjustment works again, but stops working the moment I put a tank in, when it goes back to the above. I cleaned all contacts and threads - no change. I had recently installed a Vapeshell - thought this might be the cause of the problem so swapped it for the Exocet I had installed previously - same problem. Have tried going into the menu - (press fire and the button nearest the tank), it takes me to screens to control puff numbers and taste control but, with no tank in, will not take me to temp control. Have also tried locking the wattage (Press up and down button) - this seems to lock the wattage but it still does not fire and wont turn on or off unless I take the battery out and put it back in, in which case the same thing happens. I don't have any instructions for it and can't find any on the web. I believe its an Asmodus gx70 chip. I'm out of things to try! Any suggestions, folks?

I'm really quite excited to receive it must admit beedee . . . . and I'm philosophical about the GB deal, while I would probably have bought it in preference to FT's as it would have sufficed me, the YFTK's does have an Evolv chip. Such is the nature of deals, I've had more than enough over the years on equipment, so no complaints from me.
For simplicity's sake, let us both hold decoy responsible. whoa hang on a minute im starting to feel like this place is home/work why is everything my fault lol Not everything, decoy, for example, I've always said it's sydsut's fault I contracted shinyitus and Perpetua's fault I spend so much on concentrates. I reckon it's my fault that pyr0 got tempted!

You won’t regret it, Perpetua, great set up and the photos don’t do them justice. Bad luck finding a good deal after the fact, happens all too often... It was decoy’s thread that first got me thinking about buying a second one of these, but it will be you I’ll blame if I get the GearBest one! I think I can resist because it’s identical to the one I’ve got, and I’d like one that’s a bit different.

Ok so i don't do my own coils ( very bad cotton phobia) and bad eyes / hands. so is it possible to get a squonk tank that use's coils like a tank does ( pre built) I have seen the new boost tank from Aspire which is basically a revo tank with a B.F pin / feed but is there any other like this ??? The Kanger dripbox takes pre-made coils - see here. A lot of people really dislike the atty, but I used mine for ages and found it fine, then did move on to other attys in the end.

ibalders, drunkenbum, phtumshk, Get Off My Cloud, Perpetua. Got it and have been using it for a couple of days - it is said to do wider coils than the Excocet or Insider, so I put a 5 wrap 3.5mm Clapton in it, really excellent flavour. Did have a little issue with some gurgling at first so put some extra cotton in, which seems to have fixed it, but overall it was a cinch to build on. I see the Chinese sites have started selling the SKX Billet Box again (though at an increased price to the one I've got) so now I'm tempted to get another!

I used to have a mod that was always doing this Fagsareus - however, the wattage worked fine and there were no weak or burnt hits, so I put it down to a problem with the board or the software and ignored it. It gave good service for many months but then died because the 510 connector gave out after I had to use a bit of force to get a stuck atty off it!

Am aware that RTAs lose pressure and leak juice when taken on a plane, so they need emptying before flying, but I'm thinking this does not apply to a squonker. Does anyone know if this is right? Has anyone tried it? Am taking a trip to Florence next week and was thinking of using a squonker as a carry around on the day I'm flying. RTA AND RDTAs do not need emptying, just turn them upside down so that the air flow is at the top, squonkers shouldn't cause a problem as long as there is a little bit of air at the top of the bottle Thanks fore this Bob, makes sense - with tanks keeping them upside down is a problem in a backpack in an overhead locker so I usually empty them, but I'll risk a pico squeeze with a half full bottle. My spheroid would be perfect as it uses foam to hold the juice - however, its a clone and the damn thing keeps leaving the bottom part of the atty on the mod when I unscrew it and it's a pain to get off. I've even tried Loctite to stop this but it carries on doing it at the most inconvenient times... may need to invest in a proper spheroid - great MTL atty...

A quick fast forward through this will tell you most of what you need to know, decoyI love mine. Sorry, forgot you want talking out of buying it - the best I can do is say that all not buying it will get you is that you will be billetboxless!
