Have now set this up and have been using it on the Gloom clone - wow, really like it. I have loads of single coil squonking RDAs, so decided to try this dual coil in a V formation first. Slapped x2 SS317L 26.55awg (I've never understood why 317L only comes in odd sizes) 2mm 9 wrap coils in it, came out @ 0.28ohm. Fairly easy to coil and wick, but probably not for a beginner. Great flavour, an MTL vape on the smaller air hole settings, a nice touch is that the dual air holes line up perfectly with the coils in the V shape, I would recommend.

Thanks, tcg69 , I will give that lemonade recipe a go if (or should I say when..) I get all the concs involved. Having vaped a couple of tanks I am now reckoning that I need to reverse the amounts of absinthe and gin in this GA recipe, so the absinthe is just flavouring the gin, I will sub the Lemon as above, and reduce the blackberry by .75. May also try a different absinthe - the others I have are FW CCW and PA, the FW one is the most aniseed/sweet one so I may give that a go. I remember Perpetua saying she did not get gin from it flavour wise, but this could be deceptive in terms of amounts, as the gin may just modify the absinthe - after all, real abinsthe has gin-like botanicals in it that sit underneath the dominant anise and wormwood flavours.

Typical missing concentrates as usual beedee still waiting for your Gins Addiction recipe is it any closer. tcg69 - I have three elderflowers (CCW, Flavorah and Pure Flavour) and I reckon any would do at a similar % - the Flavorah is a little bit sweeter than the others, so it now tends to be my go to. I reckon the Lime Cordial could be replaced by just about any sweet lime or lemon, I tried with Cap Lemon and Lime and it was fine but just wanted something a bit sweeter. If you don't have the VTA Tonic Water it's a must if you like tonic water - one of the most accurate flavours I've ever tried. The Gins Addiction couldn't be called a clone, as have never tried the original, so I'm going by this description: 'A blend of white gin, natural blackcurrant, absinthe, lemon, a mint fusion and light menthol' The latest one (of four versions) is this: 5.00% Absinthe (DV) 2.75% Blackcurrant (Innawera) (have tried the Flavour Apprentice one - not near as good) 1.75% Botanical Gin (Vape Train Australia) - IMO much better than the Flavour Monks or Flavour Arts gin - lots of complex flavours going on without losing the Juniper - like one of those artisan gins you get in Amsterdam. 1.00% Lemon Lime (Perfumers Apprentice) 0.75% Peppermint (Perfumers Apprentice) - I really like this mint, but the 'mint fusion' description makes me wonder if they have used the Innawera mixed mint - but I don't have that (yet!) 0.50% Koolada 5% (Perfumers Apprentice) I'm on my first tank of this new one, so I may change my mind, but it's the first I've tried where I get all the flavours. I reckon next I may sub Lemon Sicily (FA), which I have only just got, for the Lemon & Lime. Must say I've had great fun messing around with this one and have vaped all I made of every version, so thanks to you and Perpetua for making me aware of it!

This is a pretty accurate rendition of the lovely Fevertree Elderflower Tonic Water - my favourite soft drink at the moment. 3.20% Tonic Water (Vape Train Australia) 0.80% Elderflower (Flavorah) 0.80% SWEETENER (Perfumers Apprentice) 0.50% Koolada 5% (Perfumers Apprentice) (ie .25% of full strength Koolada) 0.25% Lime Cordial (Vape Train Australia)

Fair comment, djs, I bought about 10 of their own brand and only 2 were any use at all. However, these are not their own brand (see post above)

Could not resist this, already have one and it's a no fuss long lasting mod, £27.37 at Amazon - even cheaper than China! It's got great battery battery life and is light in comparison to a dual 18650 mod, great for home use and travel, though it's not pocket sized (unless you have big pockets....) link

I really like this one. I Finally found a use for Lemon Grass (Flavorah), which overpowers other mixes Ive tried it in: 2.50% Bavarian Cream (The Flavour Apprentice) 2.50% Cake Yellow (Flavour West) - this is a great mixer - the best cake mixer I've tried 2.00% Vanillin 10% (Flavour Arts) - seems high but works here 0.60% Lemon Grass (Flavorah) - very hard to get right in a mix 0.50% Butter Cream (Real Flavours SC Range) - one of the few RF flavours I like, provides a little creamy sweetness 0.50% Vanilla Tahiti (Flavour Arts) - a great vanilla for sweet mixes It's a sweet, lemony sponge cake, very little tartness, reproduces the syrup part of the cake well. The use of the Lemongrass really gives it that drizzle type wet flavourIt is taken from this recipe On ELR here.Nonna's Lemon Drizzle Cake Bavarian Cream (TPA) 2.5 Butter Cream (CAP) 0.5 Ethyl Vanillin 10% (TPA) 1.5 Lemon Grass (Flavorah) 0.6 Nonna's Cake (FA) 2.5 Vanilla Shisha (INAWERA) 0.5

Nearly all Flavour Arts (I use at 3-4% in standalones), I have about a dozen Vape Train Australia and use them at 6% when standalone, and some Innawera are very strong, there is the Real Flavours Super Concentrated range (they say 1-3%, I say 3-6%) but the flavour quality of these varies a lot to me.

nicotine content enters the system faster than freebase and so gives a quicker hit.
Not everyone reports of finding this, that appears to be very much an individual thing and probably more noticeable with higher strength mixes maybe. Having tried them, I couldn't be persuaded to ditch my 72mg stash in preference, but curiousity is a powerful thing! Thanks for the clear explanation Perpetua, I had read stuff on the web and not comprehended the 'faster' rather than 'stronger' - this must make it more like smoking a ciggy hit-wise - which is s good thing for people in the early stages of coming off, but now I've got used to what I get from Freebase, so will probably stick with it. I think curiosity is the basis for my shinyitus and concentriatus!

I have been enjoying Flavour Arts Jägermeister as a standalone @ around 4% (with a little Koolada), kind of herby spirits flavour profile, hard to describe. Just tried DV Blackdrops which is nice - blackcurrant, menthol, maybe a touch of aniseed, sweet and chilled flavour - a much improved Red Astaire type flavour (I find actual RA a bit unsubtle!) did mine @ 10% but next time will do 8%. A big standby for me is H20mg by Flavour Arts, a refined aniseed flavour, with a slight chill and all sorts of subtle caramel notes in the background, again @ 4%. I am currently addicted to VTA Botanical Gin @ 6% - it's a herby gin flavour, lovely juniper base but with lots of other grassy and floral notes - also quite sweet. Have to put a word in for VTA tonic water - the most accurate representation of any drink I've ever had in vape form - 5-6% for me. Must admit I hardly ever do single flavours now, everything ends up in a mix (eg the tonic water is fantastic with just a touch of elderflower and Koolada to make a Fevertree Elderflower tonic style vape)

Must admit, philvapes, Perpetua & beeper, I don't really understand the Nic salts thing. Can 72mg just be used in the same way as ordinary 72mg Nic? I'm now down to only mixing liquids at 3-4 mg, so I'm not looking for a stronger hit, but this thread got me wondering if it is worth me giving it a go.

Is it a one application material, or do you need to re-apply it at regular intervals?
And, does it actually do what it says?
Have not a clue, tim. I imagine given that all the materials it is made in (polyrurethane - acrylic - silicone) do not degrade quickly, and there is no friction to rub it off, then it should last a fair while. Have heard others strongly recommend it in spray form for protecting circuit boards and chips from leaking juice, but never tried it - also am now thinking that my problem seems to be leakage into the button housing, which is getting in between the buttons and contacts, so this would probably not help much. Still, my dried out BB is functioning well after a full week of evening vaping - so I'm hoping it will not go on the fritz again.
