Well Hi again everyone,

I've not had a real cigarette since around 11am this morning!!!!

I don't miss them at all so far

I'm loving my new Riva 1100 as it was so easy to get started.

I've still yet to top up a cartomiser so you never know, it may all go downhill from there

I'll keep updating with my progress and once I get used to the different flavours, I'll tell you my favourites but I'm still like a big kid with a new toy at the moment and I'm not paying much attention to the taste

I've got my carts and spare battery in an old specs case which will protect them when carrying them about

My bottles of liquid and spare carts are in a trinket box on my lamp table, so they're out of sight too (No kids here to worry about getting their hands on them)

Thanks again everyone for all the help and advice. No doubt I'll be asking more questions as I follow the path to being a non smoker

I just wish I'd found out about e-cigs years ago.

My hubby and friends will be fed up with me soon as I'm sure I'll be preaching to them and trying to convert them at every available opportunity!!!

Good morning Everyone

My kit arrived at 9.30am this morning, along with a drip tip, some botlle caps with needles on and a sample of Mintoff liquid, all as freebies Many thanks to Jason at vapescape

I now have one of my batteries on charge and I'm about to try and fill the cartomiser(s)

I was going to do it following one of the youtube videos via the condom method but I don't want to get anything wrong.

Is that the best/easiest way to fill them and is there anything I need to do to the cartomisers before I start to fill them?

Also, can I start to use the cartomisers as soon as the battery is charged or do i leave it for a while?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm notorious for breaking things before I've even begun to use them so any advice would be greatly appreciated

I rang Jason at vapescape this morning and he was brilliant.

He gave me loads of advice and sorted everything for me.

I went for the Riva 1100 and my order is now being processed to go via Special Delivery so I'll get it tomorrow or Monday, depending on Royal Mail.

I've ordered a sample of the cocomel, along with a few other flavours and some tobacco ones too

I feel like an excited child, waiting for my parcel. I just want to get started and become weed free

I'll keep updating how I'm getting on, but no doubt I'll have loads more questions to ask once I start on my mission

The advice you have all offered has guided me in the right direction and without it I may have bought the totally wrong kit.

If I ask for the atomisers to be swapped for cartomisers, do I need to order mouthpieces and if I do, what are they called?
