Thanks kreed, based on the reactions in this thread I'm going out on a limb to say this WILL be the 1st recipe I attempt, but I will knock out a bit of pre-blended stuff first, just to get my hand in (I am literally waiting for my stuff to arrive, ordered yesterday), but I may well PM you at some point in the not-too-distant future when I'm ready to move on, just to check I've got the right end of all the sticks EDIT: Actually, I see what you mean, I've just stuck that in the e juice me up calculator, gives me the mls for each ingredient, gonna be hard to go too far wrong...

This was probably a bad thread to find when: a) I have recently described myself as a 'custard fiend' b) I am just awaiting delivery of my mixing start-up equipment, and c) I am fooling myself that I can just use pre-blended concentrates and don't have to get into 'proper' mixing...

Black one on its way from gearbest, think it was £35!! Will use the tips here regarding the firing bar, I also fancy the 75w mini when it arrives, wonder if the firing bar issue will be solved!!, Indeed the black one was released later so that may also be fixed?? Edited to add, just noticed this is a mirror of vapee post, must clean my glasses .... I paid about the same for the stainless steel one, it's a steal at that price... And the firing bar was a tiny adjustment, I was getting ready to take the bugger apart and then, "oh, that's sorted then" I'm also fancying the 75w mini, happened to notice this earlier... www.efun.top/smok-x-cube-mini-75w-tc-box-mod.htmlNot shipping till end of November, but cheeeeeap! They've got a good price on the TFV4 mini too. Must resist... don't need more stuff... aaaargh..!

I have to agree... I bought this on impulse when Gearbest had it on offer, it just seemed a really good price, but it was only my 2nd week vaping. I then wondered, after the shinyitis had passed, "why the hell do I need a 160w mod!?"
When it arrived I had a quick go, wasn't too impressed as the firing bar seemed to be sticking a little, and the menus confused me. I put it aside and thought I'd probably made a mistake.
But then...
I had some time (in short supply, usually!) the other day, and picked it back up. A tiny loosing of one of the screws sorted the sticking firing bar. Some perseverance and a bit of Youtube made sense of the menus. Disco lights!
I've totally come round to this now, loving it. I'm not pushing it it anywhere near it's limits, and I'm still not even sure how I could, and I've not used the TC yet (TC is something I've not got onto getting my head round yet), but I've had it up to 50w with 0.3 coils in my Atlantis... nice vaping.
This is only my 3rd mod (30w iStick and Sigelei 75w TC being the others), and the interface was a step up, lots more settings, but once the penny dropped it's a doddle.
And disco lights!
I'll be seriously considering the mini when it comes out.

Their Welsh Custard and ABC are worth trying TallPaul70 . . . . Both are good as ' standalone ' custard flavours or make a nice base for adding extras to. Hmm, I reckon I may need to give them a try... they do have a big range, thanks for the tip.

Thanks Perpetua, I've not had anything from Chefs Vapour yet, though I do like the concept of juices/concentrates created by chefs... anybody tried their custard? Turns out I'm becoming a custard fiend! Especially with a touch of cake/biscuit flavour. Unexpected, tbh, I thought I'd be more into fruity flavours, but only strawberry has appealed in practice (had some from Joose Juice, very nice). Early days, I know, and a world of stuff to try, but custard seems to be where I'm at... And thanks, too, chykensa, it was actually one of your posts advising somebody else of that sort of saving that made me take the plunge, I've been reading through old mixology threads for advice for newbies. It's very reassuring knowing there's this experienced advice to draw on, much appreciated.

Thanks spacey, I am really looking forward to getting stuck in, the 'hobby' side of vaping is something I wasn't expecting at all, but I'm getting a lot of fun out of it, trying different gear, different juices, now recoiling RTAs, it's a slippery slope! I'm telling myself I'll just go for pre-blended concentrates, but secretly I know it's only a matter of tiime before I start delving into the DIY recipes on here...
