I'd try RY4 to get you going, it sort of ticks all of the boxes when you first stop smoking. Well, that's what I found,

Yes, I coughed up some nasty stuff in the first few months, but that was down to countless years of smoking nasties, not vaping.

Do you reckon I could maybe say to myself 'ok, Isla, you weak turnip, you can have your 5 cancer sticks for the times when you really enjoy them and aren't just smoking them on zombie mode, so long as you commit to vaping for the rest of the day.' Decent plan or silly idea?; Isla, in cigarettes there is something like 3000 different chemicals that go together to make them very addictive. In e-cigs there are just 4. The PG that blends everything together is also used in food additives and throat sprays. The VG is also found in food additives and in the safe smoke machines you find in theatres. The Food Flavourings that are common in all foods and is used to make the flavourings in e-cigs and finally the Nicotine itself. So far tobacco companies have missed a trick and we cannot go into a shop and buy 20 B&H in juicey Peach Flavour, or 20 Camel in Auntie Flo's Pear Drops, or 20 Mayfair in Gingerbread flavour. But you can with e-cigs. Over time I found myself reaching for the e-cig and a flavour that complimented the food that I had just eaten, so yon cigarette that I used to crave just after a meal become the e-cig with a particular flavour that I was really looking forward to. Don't think of e-cigs as a way of stopping smoking, but rather as an extension of smoking. E-cigs will take you to a higher level, but a considerably safer level as there is no Tar or Cancerous chemicals in them. You may cough a bit to start with, but that is only you coughing up the tar caused by you previous smoking. E-cigs do not put anything into your lungs other than water vapour. Sorry for the late reply.
As others have said, don't worry about the possibility that you might get the odd headache in the early days,. Simply just put your vaping gizmo down, dink a glass of water, have a wee break and you'll be fine.
I only experienced them in the first few weeks, probably because I didn't drink enough water.
Also, I loved and still love vaping that much, that I hardly had my Riva out of my mouth.
I can't remember the last time I got a headache from vaping,
so, as timone and poomba say.........akuna matata

When the head goes on the one I'm using, ill give it a go with what I've got and see how I get on.
I'll allways got the other two heads that came in the box if I screw it up.
I'm assuming from all the posts and threads I've read, that you can buy all of the parts separately.
Any recommendations on where sells the parts.

Hi and welcome Isla,
Great post by the way.
Already great advice from everyone.
My advice(from my own personal experience) would be, when you do start vaping(Riva is a good choice by the way), especially for the first few days, make sure you keep yourself hydrated.
I used to smoke approx 17 nasties per day and started on 16 mg dropped to 11 mg then jumped to 24 mg, then averaging out at 16 mg.
It might take a few weeks to find the strength that suits you.
As for flavours, only buy small quantities,
What you might like early on, you could end up hating in a few weeks time( and vice versa) once your taste buds change. And believe me, they will change.

I have some coil and wick left over that I used to use to rebuild the ego vision(stardust), would that be ok to use to rebuild this, or would I need an alternative.

Hi to all,
I only recently started using the mini nova, which I absolutely love by the way..........(way better than the vision egos I used to use 6 months ago, in my opinion).
But, I have a couple of questions which have probably been asked before, but I can't find them.
First, how long do the heads last on average on these bad boys.
Second, can they be washed and if so how.
Third, I got three heads in the box and just started using the one that was already in the mini nova. I know they are different ohm's or whatever, but being a simpleton, I don't really know what that means in terms of vaping.
Fourth, are they rebuildable , which I'm sure they are, but how do you do it.
And lastely, does anyone have any tips they'd like to share with using these.

When I flew with Ryan air last year, they were selling e-cigs on the plane, at least I thought that's what thy were.
Anyway,
I personally just stealth vape either in my seat or the loo.
Never had a problem yet.

Even tho I enjoy vaping,
My plan was to slowly drop the nic content bit by bit, until one day I was at zero and wouldn't need to continue vaping.
Everything was going well until I hit 4mg.
At this point I felt like my Riva was never out of my mouth.
I think all dropping the nic content did, was make me vape even more.lol
So,
I made a small batch of ry4 at 10 mg to get me thru this bad patch.
And guess what,
Boom, I'm sorted.
I'm still sick of ry4, but I think I've managed to push the cravings for a nastie away, for now at least.
I'm glad I came back here for help.
Looking forward to my new kit and flavours,
I hope the cocomel is as good as I remember people saying saying it was, way back when.
