I must confess I used clear heat shrink and just applied it over the top of the damaged original wrapper... stupid really but if you have any of the pre-cut stuff left, then get a 99p role of the stuff from china (5mtr) and when it arrives cut it to length and you gain hundreds of ready to go wraps for the future I bought a few rolls and sicne doing that I haven't needed any for batteries ....

this article is so absurd : The Commission poses the amount of e-liquid needed to produce an acutely toxic effect through dermal exposure in humans is 35 ml for a small child and 210 ml for a 60kg adult (larger than the maximum size of a refill container allowed under the TPD sure the average adult generally has a weight of under 10 stone and will pour nearly 1/4 of a litre over him/herself Regarding outcome, 23.7% of cases required hospitalisation and 6.8% had a moderate or major effect - ehm - what happened to the other 70 % - gosh math does not seem to be their strength I don't actually know many adults that still weight the same as the average 15yr old... but that said, the 35ml rate was based on you having access to 100mg/ml nic base, in most places its been limited to below 75mg/ml under poison controls for a long time, indeed several states had it set as low as 40mg/ml because of the early understanding of toxicity and lethal dose concentrations. they however neatly skip that bit in the write up almost as neatly as they skip mentioning all of the 6.8% were from exposure to none e-liquid nicbase designed to be used as a poison (like the 98%pure stuff you can get in the rat killer catalogue) the entire thing is a prelude to them doing what the yanks did with the deeming regulations because they aimed so low on the first pass with weak watered down efforts, the WHO has prepared an advisory (after chatting to various interested parties like GSK/PMI etc) to all nations to strictly regulate all vaping related items under medical certification rules, once its released the EU will be bending over backwards to comply asap

sydsutthey can ban it quite easily, if they deem it to be a tobacco related product and include it in article 20 provisions, in the same way as article 20 prevents sale of nic base to the general public they will ban the sale of vg/pg to prevent home mixing, look at the FDA's example in this, they deemed everything that is used or can be used to make an e-cig including the batteries the battery sleds the buttons the control circuits etc etc to be a tobacco product, it doesn't require common sense to produce absurd legislation only big enough pay cheques from the related industries to prevent their product from disappearing, the cosmetics industry hates boutique suppliers, killing off their competition by preventing them access to required ingredients is a win-win for them, the pharma industry killing homeopathy and vaping is win-win for them, the big food companies don't loose out if local honey producers cant access the chemicals they require and go out of business so they kill off completion and expand their presence across new markets by being the only people to obtain licences to receive these items, its a conspiracy to crush competition squeeze all the small fry out and leave what's left to the corporations who already own the rule makers, in fact the only people loosing are the thousands in those businesses and us the general public, the EU has been a giant corporate front for decades and as soon as the corporations are all that's left they will either tear it up and fight a short but bloody war to see who owns which zones or slim it down to a couple of figure heads and have legal teams write any new controls on social or economic status, its like the people behind the scenes watched all the futuristic shows and read all the books and melded them together to form a blueprint showing the path of least resistance to achieve the desired end point (ultimate power over people's lives) and all the better for those sharks of capitalism that they hijacked an already established provider of such totalitarianism in the great control centre called the EU, these people talk openly about rigging markets by creating cabals and dictating what the supply rate is going to be for various products regardless of what the demand rate is or the capacity of the supply lines.....

Postmodern Smokingreading between the lines I reckon the next line of assault on vaping will be to include all mod boxes and batteries as well as ban rda's, rta's all vape wire, cotton, vg, pg and certain flavourings from general sale in order to ensure we cant mix or rebuild at home on the grounds that nany eu is protecting us mere imbeciles from possibly harming ourselves ....

yeah
the cross boarder sales regulations and advertising banns kicking in at midnight, some companies wont be offering cross boarder sales due to the costs involved others will because of the volume of buisnes they do on a country by country basis,
so much for EU harmonisation of laws, all the TPD has done is create chaos

Well I dont pee that much either, but sugar puffs seem to be hanging around if it smells of sugar puffs that's a sure sign of protein which is one of the key indicators of diabetes..... if its type 2 many people can fix it by changing their diet and upping the fluid intake whilst loosing weight and the body sort of fixes itself, I say that having been diagnosed as type 2 several years ago before I knew that pain eating was a thing (although In retrospect of course shovelling 10+ chocolate bars down my gullet a day between meals and pills should of been a clear indication) anyhow I underwent therapy and changed my behaviour and have had the all clear every time I've been tested for the last 7 years, although I rather suspect I might be going down that road again as the weights piling back on and I seem to have slipped up on the "good food" front in the last few months/

that's it the mirror article effectively killed the petition its barely gained any signatures in the last hour.... I suspected given the lack of movement in the mainstream news about this tpd challenge that there was a conspiracy to ignore it and now its confirmed, damn EU proxy mouthpieces, its no wonder they don't report on any real issues there part of the dictatorship and were the experiment I was wondering why #LordsVapeVote wasn't listed in the twitter stream of top trending items despite the metrics showing it as the number one topic for the last 36 hours..... now its confirmed there is a real conspiracy to prevent any bad EU news stories being promoted to the wider public no wonder the mirror got to run the news article they have the lowest reader circulation in the country

for those that do social media you should probably link to the latest abortion to be birthed by the EU's health committee report eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=COM:2016:269:FIN&from=FRthat suggests banning VG & PG along with various food flavours in case some dastardly non licenced industry buys them and uses them ..... anyone who is into making their own homeopathic remedies or runs a small business will be hung out to dry if that goes through.....

get yourself a samovar complete with the tea light base and you can brew up in the lounge and leave her to the kettle I have to confess though I only use freshly boiled water straight into the cup with a pyramid bag, mostly because me having a dodgy digestive system I cant drink "brewed" tea any more and I don't like the taste of other types of tea when there not brewed..... Thats how I like mine. My tea urn is like the 1s you get in caffs, a gallon of water permanently on the boil with a tap at the bottom. I thought it was a 'conversation piece' but the conversation me and the mrs had about it was a bit 1 sided lol. ive had a few of those sorts of conversations over the years, generally they end up with me making the puppy dog eyes and saying sorry whilst hastily putting the offending idea/item out of view....

its referring to non legal forms of nicotine in the UK, our limit of 75mg/ml is there for a reason, you don't accidentally ingest or absorb 35ml's you do that on purpose, and the stuff there talking about is already restricted to licence holders only (including bee keepers) in any halfway decent nation state .....
their plans are just yet another nail in the coffin for the EU's dictatorial self, imposing greater controls regulations and interdictions on everyday life, bee keepers will no longer be able to legally obtain the stuff they need unless there part of a major company which means no more local produce to compete with the big manufactures of commercial honey..... this has corporate schills scrawled all over it only this time its not just one group (big pharma) but many groups pushing for the changes,
and then there talking about banning the sales of vg + pg, effectively banning herbalism and protecting the big face cream makers from those upstart small businesses by rolling the "diy supplies" up under TPD, boutique companies will be decimated all to stop the odd fella from making his own "pure grade" e-liquid in case they want to mandate something nasty gets added just like the WHO did with insisting organophosphates were used in leaf tobacco processing....

catface26just be careful you don't end up drinking too much, as with all things too much is dangerous, its better to have frequent small sips than to be drinking a lot at fixed points during the day, basically if your pee is clear your well hydrated and if its dark coloured then your not (unless you take certain meds in which case the colour could be down to them)
