Its a poor safety document and with such a low sample not much can be identified from it. Its a subset of Nic users..so whats the full set/population? Just says to me that about 200 or so are idiots and the majority of us have to suffer from their irresponsible ways.

This has likely been their plan all along,. Luckily it won't impact on my stocks as I have enough to last till I pop my socks. But it is going to hit the average Vaper if they have made no preparation for these draconian measures!

It's also made my mind up, I am certainly voting out!

They will not rest until they have complete control, next it will become unlawful to mix your own lol.

Concentrates etc will still be available as I still cannot see how they regulate ingredients for cakes etc.

Take for instance this statement :

In the latest studies it has been shown that Nicotine when not got from smoking tobacco is NOT highly addictive, so this point is blown out f the water.

"2. Dermal contact

The Commission poses the amount of e-liquid needed to produce an acutely toxic effect through dermal exposure in humans is 35 ml for a small child and 210 ml for a 60kg adult (larger than the maximum size of a refill container allowed under the TPD)."

So you need 35ml liquid for an acute toxic effect on a small child? - AT WHAT STRENGHT? 1mg, 10mg, 100mg??? It's like saying drinking 50ml of "beer" will get you blind drunk, even if the beer was alcohol free.

its referring to non legal forms of nicotine in the UK, our limit of 75mg/ml is there for a reason, you don't accidentally ingest or absorb 35ml's you do that on purpose, and the stuff there talking about is already restricted to licence holders only (including bee keepers) in any halfway decent nation state .....

their plans are just yet another nail in the coffin for the EU's dictatorial self, imposing greater controls regulations and interdictions on everyday life, bee keepers will no longer be able to legally obtain the stuff they need unless there part of a major company which means no more local produce to compete with the big manufactures of commercial honey..... this has corporate schills scrawled all over it only this time its not just one group (big pharma) but many groups pushing for the changes,

and then there talking about banning the sales of vg + pg, effectively banning herbalism and protecting the big face cream makers from those upstart small businesses by rolling the "diy supplies" up under TPD, boutique companies will be decimated all to stop the odd fella from making his own "pure grade" e-liquid in case they want to mandate something nasty gets added just like the WHO did with insisting organophosphates were used in leaf tobacco processing....

As mentioned by cigeliquid on the other TPD thread 10ml containers are a choking hazard. They vastly increase the risk of that by ensuring many more are produced. Thats to get round probably a lesser risk.

Because of the need to handwring by certain individuals a thorough hazard analysis has not been undertaken. They really should have used H&SE for this topic which is on a national scale. International...couldn't give a toss!

I've seen this elsewhere...you employ a bunch of experts and within an Executive and don't use them.

reading between the lines I reckon the next line of assault on vaping will be to include all mod boxes and batteries as well as ban rda's, rta's all vape wire, cotton, vg, pg and certain flavourings from general sale in order to ensure we cant mix or rebuild at home on the grounds that nany eu is protecting us mere imbeciles from possibly harming ourselves ....
