well I know exactly how much ive spent on vapeing in the months since I started, and whilst it rather dwarfs the amount I would have spent on tobacco in the same period I am rather hopeful the capital outlay on the hardware will slow down now, certainly the cost of juice per month is a fraction of the price of single pouch of baccy and if I can control the urge to splurge then I should be making actual savings by the time my sig reads 4 months (although that will only be by a few pennies lol) if that happens then I will be a very happy bunny otoh I do like the look of some of the bits I've seen in the last few days of sales so I might end up extending that lead tiem by a few more months  also grats on the 1 yr point and I too realised I hated the smell and taste quite quickly when I started vaping / |

I'm having a lovely day Andy - half way through a bottle of wine - hic   Right off to change the sprouts to pigs in blankets as requested by letsavit  Thank you, no one actually likes real sprouts do they.... that all depends on how their cooked, if you get the cheap £1 back of sprouts with bacon from Iceland cook it as detailed in the microwave then tip them into a pan full of butter and finish them off there delicious, plus you get free gas to fuel in case of emergencies  |

I think the nickle is just softer and squashing around the posts /
I ordered some 32 kanthal since the biggest coil I can make is a 2mm id and at ni200 that cranks a 7 twister below 0.2ohms leaving me with just the forever 30w mod that can fire it (well until my kopoor 200w tc mod arrives in a few weeks)
anyhow I used the subtank rba and its a lot easier

the istick's 20/30/50 are all built in batts, I have 4 of the 30w units and there fantastic, but I haven't been vaping that long and the missus already pinched one of them .... the only downside to the built in batt units is the inability to toss a dead cell In the bin without resorting to a magnifying glass and some pretty fiddly disassembly /assembly work, on the plus side for me I have a pretty decent electronics tool kit although I lost all my soldering irons a few years ago I am slowly rebuilding them. on the plus side I have been finding a lot of ultra cheap deals to help me replen my old gear a lot faster in the last few weeks thanks to places like GB, downside is I have loads of new things I want o get an no money left at this time of the year  perhaps if I kick the kids out I will have more cash .... but probably not / |

ok so I spent the last 2.5 hours trying to make a coil and fit it to the rba deck, now I managed to make about 30 coils (all look perfect) but I couldn't manage to get one of them to actually sit on the rba deck (stupid tiny fiddly thing) I used one of the premade coils they sent with the deck and it was much less hasstle to attatch..... I checked the specs a 3rd time and i'm definitely using the right wire (28awg A1), I decided to try some ni200 (28awg) and wacked a few coils together then tried to fit them and well first time no probs just like the premade stuff..... I think my A1 is to wide for the RBA but I have 75mtrs of the damn stuff so it better be easier to use in the subtank RBA  off to see if I can find a few meters of thinner stuff now .... |

well I ordered myself a www.gearbest.com/temperature-control-mods/pp_269814.html cheeky little pressie for the new year  to top off the 4x istick 30w units and the forever 30 that I already owned .... I only have 5 tanks at the mo and 1 of the isticks + one of the tanks has been ninja'd already, hopeing ot start using the RBA's exclusively in the newyear on all of them maybe I will find something special to go with that new mod, the 12 batteries I ordered last month might even be here by the time it arrives  |

the two packs I got off FT were listed as genuine as well but were totally fake and to be honest rather poor ones at that, I stopped trying to save 50p by getting them from there when I realised amazon do them for the same price with free next day delivery, that and now I don't need any more cos I have the vvtf RBA, so once i get the coil building knack sorted I can stop buying disposables for good |
