Happened to me at week 3 and again week 6.

Only for a couple of days but as it has happened before know it is likely to happen again and of course that I can get through it.

So 8 weeks ago I thought I would try a PV. Bought an Ego C. Hmm battery life is a bit iffy so bought a pair of Ego 18650's, all good for a couple of weeks. Wonder what variable voltage is about ? Bought a VV Altoid Mod. These bottom feeders, while having a truly dodgy name, look interesting....enter VMod XL. Ohhhh they are launching a Mini ProVari with a blue screen no less, hold on I haven't got a normal one....better have both and make the ProVari black with a red screen and extension.

I started vaping as an attempt to reduce my smoking. I had never seriously tried to quit before.

After tinkering around and getting the nicotine level right, juice flavour right and equipment right without much conscious thought I just stopped smoking.

Vaping satisfies me more than smoking did. Made it a redundant process as I was getting the nicotine I am addicted to in a more pleasurable way.

There was no withdrawal. No pangs. No hassles. When I got my Ego I went from 20+ a day for 30+ years to 1 or 2. Took a few weeks to get the nic right and stopped.

Some far cleverer than me and managed to get it right immediately and stopped or more likely wanted to stop smoking. Ermm truth to tell I didn't. I liked, strike that, loved smoking but last week stole a cig off my wife and put it out after a few drags as it was just kinda bland compared to my juice.

This is just my experience. Everyone is different. I suspect I would have gone down this route far earlier if I hadn't of moved over here as cigs are 2.90 Sterling a pack. No pound sign on the keyboard.

Just to put your mind at rest about kids. I have the....pleasure of having 3 "bonus" kids and a couple of my own.

I rarely smoked in the house but after a lot, like 2 weeks worth, of reading I have no issues about vaping in the house. Ok I live in Florida so it ain't that cold most of the time so going outside isn't a hardship. Apart from the mosquito's perhaps.

Hmm any recommendations for an anti mossie vape ? Strangely don't feel like vaping Deet. I feel another Google coming on !

Not certain but think it depends on filling.

If you drip it in think that the first few vapes will be 8mg then you will go through some juice that has mixed and end with 20mg.

Condom method should mix it up pretty well but that would be at about 14mg if the liquid split is 50/50. 20mg + 8mg = 28mg/2 =14mg. Of course it won't be a 50/50 split so wouldn't really worry about it lol

Went to the local flea market and vastly over paid for some Ego Visions.

Have to say great throat hit at 3.2 volts. That said the flavour is pretty underwhelming for far. But I am only a quarter of the way through the first tank there could be some run in factor.

Made a serious mistake and picked up the Ego W cartomizer as well. I just can't seem to get on with top feeders. Chuffing along quite happily and yuk. There is no warning at all. Turn it upside down and all good for a while then....yuk. Thought I would fix it by carry the sucker upside down but it leaked on me. $13 in the bin.
