So have been revisiting cable for a week or so.
Over wicking was a problem for me but seems I have fixed that by using small wicks. by small I mean you can just see it in the tank by a mm or two.
I wrap a couple of wrap of mesh around the top of the wick for the coil. Reason for that is mainly so the wick doesn't have to be heated to vape. The coil heats the mesh generating vapour. This also means there is less chance, not a guarantee, that your liquid won't be cooked and sludge your tank if using sweeter liquids.
Have migrated all my geny's to cable bar one now and am just running single wicks in them all rather than my normal U wicks..well it wick so well there is no need.
Still not sure it is the mesh killer but am starting to think that it maybe.
I use 2mm in my RSST, AC9, Z-Atty's and 1/16 in HellFire, Cobra etc.

John Hurt, Matt Smith and David Tennant are in the 50th anniversary show on November 23rd. Not expecting John Hurt to appear again after that.
I was the same as everyone else when a kid watching this series but the current iteration with the fantastic writing of Steven Moffat has brought it to another level, for me anyway. Everyone over here in my wifes family are hooked as are most of the people I work with and they are all Americans. It really is wildly popular. The most downloaded show on iTunes here by a country mile.

Hi Fellow Mixers. Tonight after waiting 4 weeks I am vaping my VC mix in my `Dream Atty`, using 2mm ekowool wicking and a coil of 2.0 ohms, setting at 8 watts output from ZMaxt. Bloody great, full flavour, loads of vapour and good TH.  Mix: 15% DeLuxe French Vanilla Custard.(PFA). 10% Vanilla Custard. (Capella). 5% DdL. 5% E.M. 50/50 mix: 18% strength Nic. 30 mls hopefully will last me until next mix steeped. So glad I started mixing,especially if my other flavours turn out as good. Going to work is always a Touchwood 18650 and HF Mega and another geny on another 18650 device just in case of the coil popping scenario. Sometimes may grab a Sturm or a VMod either 18650 or 14500 version instead of another geny.
If I have to travel then I just take 2 VMod XL's, spare atty, 2 additional charged 18650's and a 30ml bottle of liquid. That will last me a 4 day trip with coverage for accidents.
Will be picking up a Terminator C at Vapestock hopefully in a couple of weeks or perhaps a Euphoria.
Not really into having home ornaments and am trying really hard not to be a collector though I am finding that increasingly hard lol But in a nutshell if I am not using something I will sell it and replace it with something else.

Just a couple of questions to make sure.
With the drip tip off does the atty sound the same as regards firing as with the top off ?
Are you using a metal drip tip ?
Have had instances of where the metal drip trip intrudes too far into the chamber shorting things out.

Just rewicked my Mega with cord with a couple of wraps of mesh.
Last time I u wicked it.
Not bad but still can't say it is a great leap forward.

Not like I don't have anything to vape with so there are folks in a far worse place than me.
As regards the unicorn I will get my mitts on one in the end...always do through patience. Similar to fishing really if you wait it will eventually happen for you ... but hey sometimes it won't.

Been wondering about vaping and pubs as I haven't been home since the smoking ban came in.
Not sure why I was interested as I was more than likely fishing in my free time lol
