old skool today, my original Russian 91. fancied a break from subohm talks.Built a nice 1.5ohm split single coil , using a 70vg eliquid and to be honest I'm in love with this rta again.

Well they finally arrived and I'm going to say it blows the kangers out the water
Amazing airflow Great flavour straight away ( beats kangers in both coil ( TC and kanthal ) and my own build on rta deck. Very lightweight
Will order more. A cracking tank for a silky price .

Had my first dive into temp control this week ( ready made ni kanger heads).
Will admit first day totally unimpressed , vape felt too cool, washed out , lacking in depth of flavour.
But after messing around with joules and temp settings I've found that yes it's a cooler vape , but when I have a really long inhale unlike my kanthal builds I no longer get a burnt / hot vape where the flavour changes from great to meh. The wick and coil have also remained very clean looking .
TC keeps it very consistent , it still doesn't beat my rda kanthal builds for flavour intensity nor my billow v2 kanthal but I can see why it's so popular.
I reckon after I start doing my own builds I will be a total convert.

Sub ohm is awesome . The flavour ( on the billow v2 0.30 ohm dual coil) is just immense , one of my fave eliquids 'Pound It' , a lemon drizzle cake feels like you've eaten a blooming cake . Wasn't too enthusiastic about subohming before but now after trying 1.2-1.8 builds ( to see how these vape),I could never go back . Clouds are just a by product it's the intensity of the flavour which floats my boat

Cheers guys ,
I will stick with it for a bit , yes I'm used to that warm kanthal vape so suppose need to mess around with settings .
Think I will also pick up some Ti to experiment with my own builds .

Hi guys, thought I'd give temp control a go.
So I've got a ipv d2 , and rather then jump into the deep end and build a coil I purchased some kanger nickel temp control coils.
So im vaping this setup today .
My question is what exactly should I be experiencing that's different to my normal kanthan builds ?
I've noticed the vape is cooler but am I missing a trick?
And what is joules ( I know it from a physics point of view) but how is this used in temp control is it the ''watts' equivalent used in TC?
I'm a bit dissapointed was expecting a ground breaking vaping experience .
