I don't think so. I'm just a bit of a technology geek. I enjoy the evolution of technology and like to use the latest innovations. aside from the type of coils evolving I don't really see much difference between the different tanks from a usability or aesthetic point of view, now I haven't tried any (although I am seriously considering the tfv4 for the easy fill option) and well battery boxes will always get better with time, kind of surprised nobody had bothered to build a li-po unit with double the power output and half the size of a li-on unit but i'm sure such things will come in the future. There's tons of new innovations. Different types of juice flow, juice flow control, top filling, air flow direct to the coils, extra drip tip air flow. Things like the Haze dripper tank which is an RDA with a large juice well that acts as a tank etc. It's constantly evolving.

Really don't agree with this. The technology has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years and sure there are lots of new things coming out all the time but vaping is constantly getting better. You only have to look at what has happened since the subtank to realise this. I think with any kind of technology it will always move fast for a good while before any kind of plateau. I find it interesting how some people refuse to move forward even if what they have now works. Ultimately I can't argue if it prevents anyone from smoking fags but embracing new ideas is a big part of it for me. Perhaps you're still in the honeymoon period, we've all been there. Bit like a kid in a sweet shop I don't think so. I'm just a bit of a technology geek. I enjoy the evolution of technology and like to use the latest innovations.

I agree violetblade - the market is moving too fast & sadly too many folks are sucked into having to buy the latest Really don't agree with this. I think it's a combination of everything. Certainly for high performance sub-ohm setups.
The combination of juice flow, air flow, tightness of the coil (so it heats up from the inside out), the tightness of the wick in the coil, how the wick is sitting in the juice channels etc all play a part in performance. Any one of these that are lacking will affect the vape.

I've always been told to always use spaced coils with nickel as the current jumps between the wires when in contact which messes up the temp control algorithm? Twisted and spaced or contact are different things, twisted is 2 ir more strands twisted together to make a thicker wire. Ah that makes sense. Assumed any kind of contact was the same.

One of your wires must be labelled incorrectly as they should be the same gauge. The Nickel will be softer though.

Personally don't like twisted NI200, didn't work for me when tried, makes no sense to me neither, space to stop contact and keep the readings accurate but twisting two wires together that will not be in full contact across is length is ok? The important thing is the connections as long as all strands connect at each end the contact along the wire doesn't matter, far better and less problematic than claptons in this respect because both wires have the same current. I've always been told to always use spaced coils with nickel as the current jumps between the wires when in contact which messes up the temp control algorithm?

Have a look at the Evic VTC Mini too. More compact than the Sigelei.

The k-box mini (the mods you have) don't have a spring loaded 510 pin. For that reason alone they aren't the best choice IMO.

You can get the Sigelei 75w for £35 from myepack.co.uk Do you build your own coils? Resistance jumping around is usually the post screws that need tightening.

They're the old stock blues. The green ones have been improved in some incomprehensible way apparently. More cycles in them........last longer. There's something else about them that someone tried to explain to me but it went straight over my head. More cycles may well have been the outcome of what they were on about.

I'd just like to add that sub-ohm vaping does not automatically mean "cloud chaser". Cloud chasing is almost considered an art form because it's surprisingly complex to achieve. It's not just about buying a sub-ohm tank and a powerful mod. It involves all kinds of elements such as very low resistance builds, customising drippers by drilling extra air holes, using 100% VG and a myriad of other techniques.
