Well SteveF I bought some to try out and have used it on and iPv D2 and an Evic Mini and it's not been bad. I've got a DNA200 device on the way so it will be interesting to see if there any differences when I use their CSV profile. Is £8 really a lot? A bottle of juice for something you'll get a fair bit of use out of. You asked for clean wire and the SSV is certainly that. I guess you'll have to spend your savings from a cheaper alternative on something to clean it up.

Try Sweetspot Titanium wire, it's very clean. Available from Vapeshackprescot in the UK

Why the hell did Murray win? He didn't win a single grand slam tournament all year. Well he did win the Davis Cup for us

I didn't think it was going to be real. You can't trust anything on eBay these days. If it was real it wouldn't be offered for sale on eBay in the first place.
If the seller sold it to you as real he should be shot, but report him first if his auction description doesn't state it's a clone/copy/fake.

Mrsmac - If that vape meet was the recent London one you liked my Evic Mini....I've started something here....oops! I also have an iPV D2 and I think I prefer the Evic, it handles more TC wires and can be updated. I think it might use more power battery than the D2 but it's hard to tell as I keep swapping atomisers. Either way I find I will have to change batteries once a day, even if I don't fully discharge the second. The odd charging cable is also worth considering. As there is a new D3 coming out if you like the feel of the D2 vs Evic I would wait for the newer model. Neither are that expensive for what they can do and that is what tempted me to buy them in the first place. Considering my Vaporshark rDNA 40 cost me over £100 a year ago I'm blown away by both devices.

Buy a new insulator that fits in the base that the 510 screw/pin goes though. They tend to deform and end up pushed in to the base over time, especially if you remove the screw a lot or tighten the screw too much trying to fix the block tight on the deck. That will restore the height difference so the screw head sticks out a bit and will give you connection without shorting. They are cheap so I wouldn't even bother with a O ring which will deform anyway.
The insulator under the block on the deck also suffers over time from being squashed. You get both in a set from Creme de Vape for £5.

All you need to know about Clapton Coils.
1. They take more power to heat (as there is more wire to heat) 2. They will give you more vapour 3. They will consume e-juice like a leaking tap. 4. They will drain your battery quicker. 5. They can potentially cause problems with your battery - depending on what you are using - you need good batteries that can handle higher amp requirements. (Don't use Spinner/Ego type batteries)
If you want a warmer more flavourful vape try them, you won't be disappointed.
Looking at the juice holes in those Mini Triton Clapton coils does make me think of burnt/dry hits, they look rather small to be able to wick enough juice to your wick and supply the coil which will crave juice. You'll struggle with thicker/high VG juices.

I wash and brush off my Ni200 and Titanium coils because dry burning them is a No No. Used to wash out Kanger coils when I used them but they didn't use cotton back then, and I don't really think that rinsing out cotton works to well. You're better off changing pre-built coils or rebuilding them if you have the skills, once cotton is burnt that's it, you'll never get rid of the burnt taste.

Steve if your mod can handle it Titanium wire is a lot more forgiving than Ni200. I've never had much luck with dual coil Ni200 builds you have to use thin wire to get the right resistance and coils because they need to be spaced end up huge which presents its own problems when trying to install in a tight deck.
Titanium can be built compressed or spaced and has a higher resistance so you don't need so many wraps/coils to get the resistance where it needs to be for the mod to fire.

Hi Folks
Got put on to this forum from the folks that I have met at the London Vape Meets in the Pub. So hopefully some of you might put a face to the name.
Been vaping at least 2.5 years now and have been through the Cigalike - Kayfun - Mech Mod - Regulated Mod - RDA journey and have a reasonable idea of what I am doing. I've also done a bit or fancy coil building and have used Temp Control mods with Ni200 and more recently Titanium wire so have a good idea about all that stuff as well.
Current daily vaporiser is a Kayfun V4 or a Tilemahos V2+ but like to use RDA's when I'm home. I've just got an Evic Mini which is an incredible box mod for its size and it handles everything Temp Control and fairly low ohm builds on RDA's as well, just an amazing bit of kit for the money.
See you out on the forum
