You can run the 1.8 ohm coils from 8 to 20 watts on 70vg/30pg . But they recommend 13 to 15 watts on the 1.8s.
Im guessing .3 ohm coils should be running 30 watts plus . It should be on the side of the coil what they will do.

I just got a pico kit from fasttech about £24 and 2 sony 2600 ma batterys ,they where about £10 took ten days to come. I love this little mod its made all my other mods redundant , so much so I have just ordered an other one. I run mine with the 1.8 ohm triton coils , but that's the thing with the melo 3 tank it comes with you can use so many other makes of coils in it. You got ss, claptons, ceramic , the list goes on and on . From my point I like mouth to lung and with the 1.8 ohm triton coils its about the best I have tried. and well stealthy for work as its so small. One thing I don,t get with it its only 2 mill tank using the same coils I use in my triton but uses a lot less juice then my triton tank. Triton tank is 4 mils fill it 1.5 times a day , milo 3 mini tank is 2 mils and almost lasts a day. Same coils. www.fasttech.com/search?Istick%20pico what's the draw like with the Triton 1.8ohm coils in the Melo III ? I'm using the Melo III 0.5ohm coil and with the air control fully closed the draw is still way too loose for mouth to lung. The draw is as tight as you want it with the 1.8 ohm coils and you use a lot less juice at lower watts, I run mine around 10 to12 watts but they do go lower. You can still do a lung hit but its quite tight but as for mouth to lug they are great, you can with the air controle get it as tight as you want. Prob with the sub ohm coils the hole in them is to big for mouth to lung even with the air controle shut right off and you have to run at a higher wattage with out the air flow. I run 70vg 30 pg home made juice and im really impressed how much vapper you get out of these coils for a mouth to lung job.

I would really look at the melo 3 mini that comes with the pico they are I think a great tank and way better than a kanger tank.
Even if its only down to the choice of coils and cheeper at that.
May be just me but I have never been a fan of kanger tanks.
I did try a K1 on an adaptor on the pico and it works fine along with a load of other tanks , only one I got that wont fit is my crown tank.
If the tanks bigger than 22mm then it wont fit.

Istick Pico with the melo 3 mini, £24 off FT and they take Triton coils.
I run mine with the 1.8 mouth to lung coils its great.

I just got my sm kayfun mini V3 from fasttech and what can I say its great. I like mouth to lung and this little thing owns big
time with a 3mm 9 rap coil running at 2 ohms.
Very well made for a clone and only £7 its a no brainer. Only prob I had with it was the screws not grabbing the wire, heads
to small. Changed them for some ones I had spare off my crown rba dec and its fine.
Its been along time to jump onto the Kayfun band wagon but I can see why every one raves about them now.

I really don,t beleave out of 2.6 million vapers in the uk they don,t have more support for such good work

Has any one tried just mixing the VBI with nic and pg/vg, leaving out the % for the strawberry to add later. I do this with all my custard mixes and add the fruit a few days before I want to use it. Fruits tend to die off quite fast if left to steep along time. Even with Creeds Custard I leave to steep for a month then take out 30 mils of it and add 10% rip strawberry to the 30mils ,leave a few days and vape. Its quite nice BTW. Not used VBI before but im guessing it will work like any custard type mix which needs a good steep time. This does seem to be a problem and also a major pain imo. Real shame this  I do it this way so I can make up 200 plus mills and still get the full on fruit, its the only way I have found to get in your face fruit. I mix the fruit for only a weeks worth at a time after that they die off if not some sooner. The other thing is you can mix other fruits in and out so I get to change it up as I fancy.
I got some VBI on order so will try it when it comes and add the fruit after a few weeks.

I keep 3L nic in the freezer and have a only 100 mils kept in a dark place for mixing at a time.
There are a lot of posts on here to why you keep your nic you are not using in the freezer as it keeps for along time
Like years.
Nic out all the time lasts a few years but a lot longer in the freezer which is good for stocking for the tpd.

I use everythingliquid Pg 72 Nic and boots Vg and never had any harshness with it.
I don,t use PG as I get mine from the flavours and the nic, ends up around 60 vg 40 pg mix
but that's down to how much flavour I use in the mix.
Its just one less thing to buy.
Just an idea but you may want to change your coil that can make a juice harsh even if its new new
one or build.

Mine at work I chuck him all the dregs and he loves them. One problem I got now is by mistake I let him have a go
on the good stuff my all day vape strawberry custard ,now its make me some -make me some -make me some please.
Don,t know if I can get away with chucking the dregs at him any more.

Can I ask what level nic you are on because you still want to smoke. I for one was a heavy smoker 40 plus a day
for over 40 years.
I switch with in two days and have never wanted a smoke till this day and that's been for over 3 years now.
My point is a lot of shops ask how much you smoke and say you need this level of nic and for the most part
they are wrong with people that only smoke a few a day.
I have a friend the shop he went to said how much do you smoke , ten a day he said they put him on 12mil nic juice.
He always wanted a smoke and said these don,t work very well I want to smoke all the time and he was along with
vapping.
It was not till I made him some 24mil nic juice he switch over full time and said he didn,t need or want a smoke any more.
I have a had quite a few friends like the one above and always the same to low nic level to hit the spot.
There have been tests on levels of nic and if you are on to low a level all you do is use more to make up for it ie: battery`s don,t last long
and you don,t get the buz or throat hit you get smoking.
I don,t know the unit you are using and if you are on a high nic strength now ,you need a better one if not try upping your nic strength and see
how it goes.
The likes of an aspire K1 with 1.6 to 1.8 ohm coils with any ego one 1000mah battery should last you all day if not more.
By the way you will need high PG juice 70/30 to help with the throat hit.
I still use my K1s now for work, I find them cheep £10 for the unit with 5 spare coils on amazon and the BVC coils are like £5 for 5.
You should get around a month out of each coil if you are not using a coil killer juice like custard then if so two to three weeks.
They are just as good as the nautilus but don,t hold as much juice 1.5mils but at 1/4 the price and how well they perform is great.
