I have never had a dry hit with my two crius , never a leak and have run all types of coils
in them.
Lung hitting and mouth to lug.
Now I tend to just run a single vertical coil only 1.5mm drill bit so it mouth to lugs really well.
All I can say is don,t pack the juice wells tight with cotton , that will give you a dry hit but it should not leak
like that.
I been using the yode cotton and 316l 0.4mm wire at .44 ohms.
Im sure I get better flavour and they wick better on vertical coils , more cotton in contact with the coil.
I don,t wick mine this way I use just one strip of cotton but you get the idea .

I use my crius with a single vertical coil and it works as well as two horizontal if not better as it uses less power
less juice with just the same flavour and vapper out put.
I roll up some cotton tight to block off the spare air hole , rap the coil in cotton and feed it off the four juice holes.
So there is cotton behind the coil that is fed from the back two juice holes as well.
Never a dry hit and works really well.

I run my crius tank like that, with one .4mm 316l coil at .44 ohms vertical at 10w.
Get great flavour ,great battery life out of my vtc mini and it don,t eat the juice.
Coil is 7 raps round a 2mm drill. The cotton blocks off one air hole and uses the four
juice wells, never a dry hit and no leaks.
Not tried it on my magma as I only use it to test juices and the standard way of wicking is quicker for that. |

My crius tanks have turned up and at £13 each its one hell of a tank from gearbest.
Very easy to coil with 0.4mm 316 ss and even doing the screws up well tight they don,t brake the wire off.
More than happy with them, a really good performer on my evic vtc mini`s at 220c.

I do a 10% blueberry and 4% menthol or a 10% blackberry and 4% menthol.
But I do make my own menthol so its quite strong. So you need to play about abit to find
what works for you.
I would start off with 2% menthol and work your way up.
You can shake and vape but I do like to let it steep for a day or two, not to get more flavour
but so its got no harshness.
The only real shake and vape I have found with no harshness is just menthol on its own.

Tax will come in as the testing that will have to be done and passed on to the user.
Gov may add more but the UK seems to be all for E Cigs so I don,t think we will get it as bad as others will in the EU.
I will give china there due that some high up want E Cigs band because it is hitting tobacco sales to much , none of the lies we
get. Says a lot for the EU that can,t tell us the truth.
It wont bother me as I mix my own and have a good stock to last years. But its like a guy at work tried an E Cig on 18mils
and it just didn,t work for him , it was only after I made him some 24 mil up he stopped the cigs.
So its the new to E Cigs that are going to have a hard time and maybe die from all this crap.
It really does say a lot when a communist country is more truthful to its people than the EU is to us. |

Little tip if you are going to use VG in a syringe pull the plunger out and fill it from that end.
Then just put the plunger back in and push.

That only leaves the syringes you are using then.
You could try getting an empty 10mil bottle and do your 8% 8% 2% 2% mix using PG
to not waste your flavours as you would when making your mix up for a 30mil bottle of ejuice.
It should come to just over half way in the 10mil bottle, if not then its your syringe or the way you are reading them.
This like has been said is a mixers Sherlock Holmes thing.

I would guess after all this it is the mix calculator or the syringes minime is using.
I know 20% flavour should give a good strength of favour and minime is not getting it so here goes to check your
Calculator just make a 30mil mix up in it with 20% flavour .The amount of flavour it says you should use is 6mil if not your
calculator is not working right.
I know this may sound silly but ill chuck it out there anyways, sorry minime.
You are not using a 1mil syringe for your flavours and counting the .1 of a mil as 1mil ,that would account for the weak flavour.
They are the only two things I can think of that would make for a very weak mix.

Have you changed your coil as it seems to me to be the only thing that could be killing your flavour and if you
have, try a new one.
I have had some duff coils in my time along with old ones do drop flavour .
The other thing is when other people tried your home made did they use your tank or there`s .
If it was yours and it was ok to them, you may need your pallet reset. Best way I know to do that is use a strong menthol
flavour. I always run one tank with a menthol mix like blueberry or blackberry menthol, for me it keeps my other mixes alive
and its rather nice a bit like the first bite into a airwaves. Well the blackberry menthol one is.

SteveF the hardware on my mini is V1.01 and its running like a dream now so I really don,t know why yours are not.
Just an idea but you could try installing all the updates from the start, one after the other.
It could be that the update is not a stand alone one and needs parts from the others. Dout it but you never know may work.
Mine came to me as V2 firmware so I have only done the V3 update.

but I make it myself and go 8% short on the PG for others to be added later like banana. So after a week or two of steeping ill take say 60mils of it and add
8% banana and steep for an other week then vape. I do about 200 mils of the custard mix at a time. You can add most fruits to it that way and they work because fruits tend to die off if steeped for to long and im not stuck with say 200 mil of any one type.
I did at first try the custard on its own but after a night of vapping, i felt a bit sick lol, just like eating bowl after bowl of custard. So I just use the custard as a base mix.
I tend to only do AD vapes so it works that way for me. But if you really like custard then its not a bad one on its own just not for me as a ADV.
If you want to make it from scratch head over to the juice mixing club site and he will have it there along with many others.
You must remember that what any one says about juices is to there taste and we are all different. |

Update, been running about 24 hours now and its stable on TCR M1 set on 0092 for 316L.
Sorry don,t know what hardware version this one is, I got it about a month ago and it came
as a 75w one with V2 solfware installed so I guess mine has the latest hardware.
Mine is all over the place in 316ss mode but its great on M1 mode with them settings ,very happy
with it now. Just as well as I ordered an other one just before Xmass, but for £22 they are a good
value for money mod.
