Hi Chrissie, I belong to the Deno etc group.
They now have a webcam and we have been able to watch Posh and foal almost as soon as it was born.
It's been amazing and exciting watching it all happening. Posh is such a good mum. MM

You are so right Lolli BTW, I'm going to be calling her Keziah. It's the Hebrew name for the cinnamon like spice Cassia (she has the colour of the powdered spice in her coat) & also the name of one of Job's beautiful daughters.

Just been watching the Deno webcam. The little foal is getting brave now and leaving Posh's side, prancing around.
Deno has been looking on over the fence. I think they are going to try letting them get together tomorrow.

MM, Deno is such a sweet gentle giant - amazingly so after all he has been through. So I'm sure he will just love the beautiful Appaloosa foal I'm guessing it must be Posh (mum) that has carried the Appaloosa gene.

But what an amazing coincidence that a while after Sheb rescued Deno, he went to live with Spottydog-girl & her Dalmations

I'm not sure if they even know the sire to Posh - she was rescued from the knackers yard at the very last moment. They didn't even know she was pregnant till a long while after.
She was taken in when Deno's first companion died suddenly.
I know nothing about horses but this is all very lovely. MM

Thanks MM, I thought that was the case. Not kept up with all the Deno news as much as I used to do so. However, I still get snippets of info about him (& Posh) via a couple of eBay groups I belong to
