Hi Grumpy I bought my first one from Totally wicked. It is the DSE901. It is an automatic e-cig that does not have a button to press- you just drag on it like a usual cigarette. I am getting on SO well with it! It is also very easy to maintain but always get the spare battery on charge for when you need it! Please be aware it is way bigger and heavier than a rollie!!- you probably WILL get used to this once you get started- I thought I couldn't but I DID! This is a great one to start out with and I highly recommend it beeXX I have checked my yucky ashtray- have smoked three rollies for the whole of the day!! rubbish you might say but you could knock me down with a tiny feather.. feeling well pleased XX

Beeper I'd like to smack your bum for staying a Guest - but you're so helpful I can't bring myself to Grumpy - Beeper's on the one that saved the life of many of us "old-timers" and got us started on the path to "greater" things. scylla

Just seems to be lots of figures, flavours, strengths, battery's etc. All a bit confusing for a poor old codger like me. I know I want/need the full strength ones; I don't think the size will worry me. (never had any complaints). I think my biggest fear is not getting the 'hit' and grabbing the old baccy tin!!

I think my biggest fear is not getting the 'hit' and grabbing the old baccy tin!! Do not worry your little head about that, fellow codger That only puts pressure on. When you start out only count the ones you don't smoke!BUY ONE OF THESE THIS VERY INSTANT and you will have all you need to get started. www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk/products/titan-510-and-screwdriver-e-ni-kits/tecc-tornado-e-ni-or-electronic-2-product.html(1) You'll have lots of fellow users to advise and support you. (2) It's strong and has a long lasting battery. (3) It's an absolute bargain. (4) They've got enough black and red ones so you buy more kits, or more batteries only, if you like it. (5) If you don't like it you can sell it here. (6) Fer chrissake git started Then speak to James (his shop link is in his signature) about juice and a piece of blue stuff. scylla

Most people who've tried it like his L&B mix. I'm only saying that because you obviously want categorical guidance. I would say to get 24mg, but it's up to you, get 36mg if you wish, you can dilute it with a little VG from chemist or supermarket if it's too strong (but then you'll lose a little flavour/hit).

So. This 24gms, 36gms is the nicotine strength? What is vg?

VG = Vegetable Glycerine. Juices started out being based on PG = Propylene Glycol, now you can get both. It's personal preference and tolerance, VG gives a thicker vape but PG gives a better hit.
Oops - yes, 24mg = 2.4% strength, etc etc - there's a thread near the top of this subforum.
