Welcome from me too Ruth - this IS a nicely friendly forum (very "ladylike" in many ways - makes a nice change ). "Postie alert" - LOL between my e-cig and book buying and my wifes CD and book buying, our postie must be wondering where we put it all

Do you realise, Chrissie and all, that Tracy's moniker is just about the most controversial thing to happen to us? (Just about... not quite ) Don't mind my feelings, Chrissie - I only chose it as a tender name related to cows. Hiya Sarky Take no notice!!! scylla

Yes you can fill the blank cart, that comes attached to the atomiser, with blue foam. I'll see if I can find a video demonstrating how best to do it. I myself just cut a piece off about the depth of the cartridge x roughly half an inch. Roll it up & shove it in If it protrudes too much I just cut the excess off with scissors & prod it down with a paper clip & finally drip about 8 drops of juice in. But I know there will be a far more techy & exact way of doing it

Here we go Ruth : -
I can't really see any need to wash & dry the filter first though.

I don't even roll the filler. I cut a bit which is just smaller then the cart (length ways) and slightly less wide. I find that's ok. It's a trial and error thing I think.

Thanks again for all your advice.
I tried one of the prefilled carts that came with it and didnt think much to it.
So i cut my foam and put it in the blank cart and filled with L'n'B juice and it was much better.
I havent had a ciggie since 9.30 this morning, but have to say i have been struck down with terrible toothache this afternoon, and after a trip to the chemist for some strong painkillers i just had to have a ciggie.
But thats only 2 today which is a huge improvement. Tonight will prove interesting whne sons tucked up in bed and i'm on my own watching TV as thats my smoking time. If i can shake off this toothache and stop feeling sorry for myself i will be fine.

After more than 18 months of vaping and having resorted to direct dripping because I couldn't get on with the generic stuffing or even Fluval (though I didn't try very hard with that) I haven't looked back since changing to Jamie's blue foam I'm sure I speak for all of us, Ruthie, when I reiterate "count the fags you DON'T smoke" You're doing SO SO SO well!!! I got interrupted by a phone call issuing the usual rants from another "SO", so I expect my post has got lots of others in between yours and mine scylla
