Hi All. Firstly i would like to say what a friendly bunch you all are and what a wealth of info you all have. I am a total newbie, and only discovered e cigs, through a topic on MSE forum today which directed me over to here. I've done some reading today, and also some online shopping, thanks to some reccomendations from you. I am now awaiting delivery of a DSE 901 starter kit from TW. I've just been on James' site and ordered some L'n'B Juice and some blue foam. So now i have to be patient and wait for delivery, is there any other essential things i will need to get me started? I will keep this thread updated and let you all know how i get on when i start. Ruth x

Hi Ruth - welcome aboard. It sounds as if you have got off to a great start with what you have ordered. And yes, it is friendly here. Chrissie keeps us in check. But a good time for you to join as there are lots of new vapers here - myself included - albeit I note I now have senior status. Hope it doesn't mean I have to do anything very important. Am about to go and pester Chrissie myself with more questions. Looking forward to hearing how you get on when your tackle arrives.

Glad to see you have started your own thread Ruth You have ordered everything you need to get started. But you will need at least one more atomiser in the near future & at some time some more batteries. *Awaits being pestered by Hanow *

I note I now have senior status. Hope it doesn't mean I have to do anything very important. You've merely been talkative and are now expected to set an example by continuing to be so, Hanow Smashing term Ruth, have I welcomed you yet?* (Am a bit senile, either it's multi-done or not at all ) Anyway, you've chosen your "tackle" well, and... *Yes I did!!! I remember the devil Oh well scylla

Thank you Scylla for the clarification. I suddenly spotted it and panicked a bit there.

Welcome Ruth! Hope you are well You have bought exactly the same e-cig I started with exactly three weeks ago and I have to say that it is the ideal choice for a starter because it is very economical to maintain and also being an automatic is very easy to use. The ONLY downside for me with this particular model is the battery life, although this will really depend on how much you puff on the poor little blighter! Perhaps you can consider buying some more 901 batteries and atomisers in the multi packs as spares if it suits? beeper xx

I suddenly spotted it and panicked a bit there. Hanow my dearest If seniority were granted on merit, you'd be right up there, IMHO, along with other precious members who've blossomed here quite recently... and - not to leave anyone out, heaven forfend - along with our stalwart founder members I mentioned earlier today "we are not hierarchical" or something like that - these titles can be misleading, lots of you display more expertise than I possess, for example scylla

Oh thank you, Scylla - feels something like the 'Royal Seal of Approval'. Only trouble is, I am somewhat senior on other fronts too!!!! As long as there isn't a further category: 'Senile' - I can graciously live with my new title. (Although if totally honest, senile may well be an altogether more accurate description.) :-[
