Well done Bucko for helping out your work mate I doubt you will have any problems either, I'm sure Abe at Liberty Flights will sort out a replacement atomiser.

I've never looked at the LR atties, are they longer lasting than the regular ones Bucko and where'd you buy them?

Lilac, they aren't longer lasting - in fact there is a good chance they may not last as long as standard atties. LR stands for Lower Resistance. Lol, not going to explain this very well cos I'm tired but... Using an LR attie on a 3.7v battery will produce a vape closer to a 5v device - the sweet spot for most people. However, you have to keep the atties very wet or they will burn out. Also they drain your batteries far more than standard atties. Liberty Flights have them at a fair price in most models, including the 901 LR's : - www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=77

Lilac, I got my LR atomisers from liberty flights. I'm still on my first one, been using it 3 weeks now, though it's not been used exclusively. It's now performing more like a normal 510, powers dropped off a bit, so not ready for the nakkers yard yet, but not far off I guess. When you first use the LR, they need loads of juice to break them in, more so than normal atomisers...it tasted really burnt and harsh to begin with, but a bit of extra juice sorted that out. When they're new and fresh, they're great for nights out when the beer starts to take over and you crave that throat hit. I don't like using it all the time though, probably a bit too powerful for that (for me anyway), but I use it in rotation with a normal 510, and a cartomiser. My workmates hubby had his first night of vaping last night, she told me he really liked it. Early days like. Another workmate bought a tornado kit, he loved it, but he sold it on as he said he was getting a bit 'chesty'. I told him to cut his juice with a little glycerine as he may have been too high nicotine, he was coming from a nicorette inhaler, not cigarettes. He's a bit impulsive, and didn't try my advice and he sold it. Now he's back on the nicorette inhaler, which he's been on for 11 YEARS (YES i know - WHAT lol)...and it costs him £20 a week. Dear me. That's putting it mildly.

I know this has probably been explained elsewhere but I can't remember where - what exactly is a passthrough? Gilly

Hi Gilly. A passthrough replaces the battery of your e cig SO - you take your cart & your attie and attach to a passthrough, instead of the battery. THEN you plug your passthrough into a power supply, EG computer port & no more battery running out on you or recharging

The passthrough looks just like the e cig battery EXCEPT it has a power lead coming out of the end with connector

and the wonderful thing is if you get yourself a usb power pack which is normally used to power a mp3 player or mobile phone and plug you passthrough into it you have one of the best mobile solutions to the e-cig power problems James]

Thanks for that 10% discount code Sue Gilly, as others have said, passthroughs are brilliant. I use a Garry Dibbley one (e-cig city) with a high power USB hub (5v 3a) That gives me the equivalent of 5v vaping - more throat hit than a standard 3.7v e-cig. You can now buy e-cig city passthroughs from Liberty Flights : www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=58

Thanks all, sounds useful. For a few weeks now I've been waiting to hear about my application for voluntary redundancy (a recent equal pay review has increased my hours, decreased my salary and I'll have to pay £2.50 per day for the privilege of parking at my office so I've decided I've had enough!) and am quite stressed so, still being very new to vaping, it isn't doing the trick and I'm back on the cigs. Well, I never actually stopped, but I'd cut down quite a bit, now I'm back up again! All my stuff is in a box at the moment, but I've been lurking on the forum because I was worried about the June ban - once all has been sorted I definitely want to try again and I wasn't sure what to do about ordering juice before the ban. Now the immediate threat has eased, with a bit of luck I'll finish work soon and have time to really look into things Anyway, I'm learning more and more from you all so keep up the good work! cheers Gilly
