right...I did originally put jo as my name to post as that is what I registered with, but when i tried to post a reply it said :

The name you are attempting to use is already registered to another member at this forum.


So I changed it to joanne and it let me post a reply as a guest?

I've clicked the activation link about 5 times and each time i log in with username jo and my password (which i've had resent just incase i'd typed it wrong!)
it just goes to the home page and i'm still a guest.....LOL

There isn't another member with the user id "jo" so I really can't work out why you are getting that message.

Would you like me to delete your account so you can start again, maybe with the user id "Joanne" ?

Oh blow! I wish I could work out what is going wrong.

To me it looks like proboards have tied up your Jo & Joanne id

You are showing as a new member under the id joanne (not activated) but it's showing your posts as a guest on that id.

I wonder if it would help if you cleared your cookies & cache?

I dont think they've tied my names up..i had to post as a guest with the name jojoanne as it just won't let me post unless i post as a guest...and if i try and put in the name joanne to post with it keeps telling me:
