Agree Scylla - to finally, after so many years of trying to find an acceptable method to assist in dumping the dreaded weed, to hit upon something that is actually so helpful as this, really does make you want to persevere.

I would say that the e-cig does provide an alternative that fulfills most of the usual aspects of real smoking. For me, it is now just getting accustomed to the different tastes provided by the juices. As an analogy, I would describe that as similar to a situation where one has, for example, gone abroad, run out of your usual brand, and thus have to find and adapt to whatever is available there - which I know I have often done. Another example is - for me - having only a roll-up available. I have always smoked packaged/ready mades, and from time to time have had a roll-up, but never quite 'enjoyed' it as much as my usual brand.

Thus I am still feeling a 'smoker', but one just getting used to another brand. No other 'giving-up' method offers that. Just so wish I had discovered this years ago. Have to thank the ebay Q and A board for having done so now.

It's very upsetting to see you frustrated and defeated (((Summer))). If I were in your position I would buy just one of Simon's disposables and give it to mum to try - offer her any assistance, and wash your hands if you are rebuffed.

For a little over a fiver you will know you have done everything you can, which is very important for you in the long term. I'm saying that because things look very different when it's too late, as I know to my cost.

Hi everyone..

I'm another gatecrasher from ebay Q&A, hope there's room for another one!

I've just registered (I think), got my email and clicked on the activation link..but every time I enter my password it still says 'guest' at the top of the page :-[ what am I doing wrong? lol

Anyway, I'm just about to order a starter kit from one of the links up there ^^^^

I'm on 20 a day at the moment, and my eldest daughter (who's 11) asked me if I would try and quit as she doesn't want me to die....all the incentive I need...just wish she'd said it sooner. Hopefully i'll be vaping soon Jo x
