Hi Jeanie.
It looks like the right sort of set up to try with. Everybody says to get more batteries etc but I would give it a couple of days, use the odd real ciggie whilst charging the battery if you need to, and that way you can be sure if it is going ot work for you. If you feel confident the Riva stuff is pretty good value so good luck on the Journey

Wow! Thanks everybody for a fantastic welcome.

Guess what? I am now a vaper, or should that be a vaperer? I'm sure I'll learn the correct lingo sooner or later. Anyway, I've tried it and think I'm going to like it even though I'm not sure yet whether I'm doing it properly but as they say, practice makes perfect.

Obviously, I'm keeping the one hubby got - happy to know it wasn't a rip off, especially as Malibu was right and it was from a vendor on this forum, which will be handy being so near. It will be great as a spare but it's already on charge again, so I will need one with a longer battery life for normal, every day use. I'm definitely sending for the Riva and a selection of juices, so thanks for the code, onedayillquit. Is there anything else I will need and should be ordering at the same time?

I may be wrong - and probably am as usual, but just looked at the link of that e cig and the battery power says 650MAH/900MAH/1100mah, so there seems to be a choice?

Hi Jeanie, as others have said what you have isnt bad at all but you'll need another battery and some more vision clearomisers as they are the consumable part of the e-cig ....you can either buy the items individually or part of a kit. also get a few sample bottles of e-liquid so you dont get bored of the same flavour

how are you finding it so far ?
vaping is a bit different from smoking in you vape a smaller number of 'puffs' but generally more often

any questions dont hesitate to ask

what that means is you have a choice of battery size that you buy

Hi Jeanie and welcome, I think I would be quite pleased if my husband had brought me that kit home when I was first starting off vaping, not bad at all, the battery, if it's 650 mah should last half a day minimum, I get 8hrs out of one, until you get the kit, stick it back on charge between vaping, the Vision that your putting the juice in, is a nice basic, easy to use atty, stick around and let us know how you get on, we are all here to help eachother and give support

If you like the Vision thing that you're using, I'd recommend buying a rebuildable version, or maybe two of them, which you can get from vape escape in pretty colours, and also getting some spare heads to go with it. And I'd second the pick n mix juice selection from Grizwalds, also on vape escape, and extra batteries. Course, if you get the riva kit you'll get some spare cartomisers and another vision anyway....

Jeanie - rule one of this forum, never be afraid to ask a question, you will always get good, friendly, impartial advice. Rule two - never ask "is there anything else I should buy" unless you're willing to have everyone jump on you with a huge shopping list

Seriously though, the kit and a selection of juices will get you going and be a superb introduction to the wonderful world of vaping
