We haven't got a "totally off-topic" thread, so I'm posting this nonsense here:

I had just been reading something amusing and was vaguely realising that my juice mix was "watery" and unsatisfying, so I put 2 big squirts of Lisa's Cream into it - and then realised I'd used Parma Violet by mistake

The amusing wotsit I'd been reading were customer reviews for a £50 "box print" for sale on Amazon - of PAUL ROSS (Just in case anyone doesn't know, he's Jonathan's less rich brother, not long ago reduced to presenting on an auction TV channel.)

I found the fact that so many had chosen to "review" the print rather funny, but when I went on to read some reviews I ended up with tears streaming down my cheeks and 'orrible cackles and hoots emanating uncontrollably from my rictused (!?) lips. Here's a couple to save you wading thru:

5-stars = If you only buy one 20 inch canvas print of Paul Ross this year, this is the one to get.

5-stars = I purchased this wondrous print almost 2 years ago & it means more to me than you can ever imagine.

In fact I recently had a horrific house fire & only had time to save 2 things - I chose this & one of the twins!

1-star = Don't buy this picture. It looks fine on the website, but the one they send you is upside-down. My wife hasn't stopped crying for a week. Shoddy, Amazon.
