Lovely to see you here Ivy - one of the loveliest posters on FHG I've never used an EVO either but have also hear good things about it. I have tried Intellicig's juices & their Rich tobacco flavour is brilliant :-)

Hi All! E-cig newbie here. A friend loaned me her Elite ecig for a few weeks while I researched best deals/best customer service for USA. I'M SO EXCITED MY INTELLICIG'S ON IT'S WAY WOOOHOOO!!! Purchased an EVO starter kit with medium menthol and may try some flavored juice soon. Thanks to you guys and especially Chrissie for the invite via the great eBay group *waves to eBayers* Greetings and welcome. I'll be interested to know how you get along with your Evo - many people absolutely love them. I've had problems but I won't comment till I read how you get on with yours SM. I'm loving my Screwdriver but have encountered a problem in that neither of the atomizers supplied with it will work properly with carts; I can only use the direct dripping method. On checking the two new atomizers against those 901s I have already, I note that the wicks are much larger on the new ones - the ones I have with the smaller wicks work perfectly. Has anyone else had a problem? Fox

Scuse my fuzzy-headedness - but do you mean that the atomisers have a high "bridge"? I had that problem with TW's atties, and the mouthpieces were smaller because the atties were very slightly smaller in diameter, I couldn't get any of my existing to fit. Mine didn't last 5 minutes (so to speak) I got some from TECC (TW's sister site) and they're OK. scylla

There are two sorts of attys (at least) 901 ("real") and RN4075 - TW and trog supply 4075 attys. There are also two sorts of 901 carts - one-piece (all black) and two piece (black with a brown section where the filling is). I've found the 4075 attys work really well with the two-piece carts.

Thanks for the info people. It does seem rather daft to include atomizers that won't work properly with the Screwdriver (or any of my 901s) but at least I have several other 901s that will. "High Bridge" = metal wick I think. Fox

One way I get round the carts not being compatable with the atties is to stuff the empty cart that comes attached to the atties.

One way I get round the carts not being compatable with the atties is to stuff the empty cart that comes attached to the atties. If they're the same ones as I had, then the carts soon work loose - you'll have to teach Magnolia the "hot needle" technique Yes, the bridge is the... wot you said scylla

I did try the carts that came with the atties but, like the five filled ones (one-piece) that were also included in the pack, they don't work either although they're fine with my 901 batteries and atties. I'm going to have to make certain I buy only the DSE901 atomizers from now on I think. Tis a problem other people don't seem to have with the Screwdriver so I don't understand what's up! I can just keep the RN ones for dripping but that's not something I like to do 'in public.' I've ordered two atomizers for the Screwdriver from OKSmokey as the last ones I had from them, with the smaller bridge, were fine. I've emailed TW so perhaps they can come up with a solution. Fox

Scylla, I think all of the carts work loose over time.
Fox, it's several months since I used my Screwdriver Mk1 but I never had a problem using the RN4075 atties/carts with that model.

Yes, carts do work loose over time but the lot I'm talking about worked loose in no time However, it's just dawned on me that it was not TW's atties that had the high bridge and small cart (the last lot of TW's were the ones that died immediately on dripping, or most of them did)... no, it was Toby's pack of 5 replacing the ones that never arrived at the start of the postal strikes. There's a thread about them on ECF but I'll never find it scylla

I've had a reply from TW to my query about the atomizers supplied with my MkII Screwdriver and am told they are all exactly the same. TW ask me to return them for testing. I pointed out that the two that came packaged with the SD are certainly different from the six other 901 atties I have in that the bridges in both are considerably wider. TW also state the do not advise direct dripping. I've just received two new atties from OKSmokey that are the same as all my other 901s and work perfectly with the SD. I'm confused. Fox

Fox, I wonder if TW mean that all of their atomisers are the same? ie all of their atomisers are RN4075's.
Is it just with the SD that they are advising you not to drip? Though I thought that unlike the SD MK1 the MK11 was sealed so OK for dripping.
