Funnily enough, I got a reply from him a week or so ago - but he didn't actually respond to what I asked him The Little Gem should be coming out today, it's now marked Out of Stock so I presume pre-orders used up everything he could make by the deadline. I need to "address" atties, I'll see if there's a better thread but I might come back to this one. scylla

I take it that it's unusual for him to reply then...lol ( Yep both me & Scylla have emailed Garry in the past & never got a reply (also been posters on ECF saying the same thing). But & a very big BUT, Garry is just modding & selling in his spare time plus keeping his prices so low that IMHO I'd forgive him for more or less anything

'Ello again:) *waves week-old Evo silver about the thread* Well, lightnening fast shipping and orders were exactly what I paid for... I love this ecig but want to LOOOOVE it. Trying to figure out whether it's my technique or the product as I've only had the borrowed Elite non-menthol to compare. The best hit is obviously with a full charge plus new filter but am I expecting too much for it to last most of 1 day like that? Seems to diminish fast. If I take too long a draw, it stops for 2 minutes but can live with that. It (or I LOL) whistles. Just received the next two highest menthol filters to try tomorrow - fingers crossed - but it seems that each drag is a little different from the next. I'd like to be confident that most drags are the same without going cross-eyed watching for the tip to light up. Do I just need to adjust to this? Really want to sort it and buy filters in bulk, or is it more economical to use the liquid, and can you really reactivate old cartridges with the liquid? So many questions! Would love to read others' opinions on intellicig evo...Foxy?? Thank you in advance, sleep tight, will check back later!

Depending on how heavily you vape, these small batteries could last only an hour or two That's one reason why I'm always nagging newbies to buy more than one starter kit, so they have more than one charger and can keep plenty of batteries ready-charged. You definitely should be able to refill your cartridges with juice - gradually drip into the stuffing and squidge in and out with pointy tweezers or a skilfully ( ) modded paper clip to make it soak right thru. The Creator/cartomiser combo I had also whistled, but it stopped after a day or two. That's all I can contribute re the Evo. I'm so pleased you like it enough to keep going with it. scylla

Hello Ivy Ditto everything Scylla has said plus yes it works out far cheaper to refill your cartridges with liquid. The short time between battery charging is one of the reasons some of us have moved on to using mods/large battery holders. Plus the spare batteries work out a lot cheaper to buy. As they are manual devices, there is no automatic cut off when you drag too hard or too often as you are experiencing with your EVO. There are a lot of big battery holder e-cigs to choose from but here is an example of a couple from USA sellers. (We can also buy these over here from UK sellers ) The Silver (or black) Bullet from AltSmoke : www.altsmoke.com/starterkit/silverbulletusa.htmlThe Prodigy & Protege from Puresmoker www.puresmoker.com/category_s/50.htmwww.puresmoker.com/category_s/55.htm

Would love to read others' opinions on intellicig evo...Foxy?? Thank you in advance, sleep tight, will check back later! Hiya SM: I also want to love my Evo to bits ... but ... The two minute cut off is very irritating as is the similar cut off when the cart needs topping up. The filled carts are very pleasant (I've only used Menthol high) but they do 'go off' fairly quickly. Topping up is messy as the inner cart is fiddly and the ones that came with the cig are stiff to push back down without pushing the filling down also. I purchased some blank carts that have a different and easier to push down inner section but, sadly, the flavour of the liquid is diminished by the 'plastic' taste of the mouthpiece; annoying as the menthol flavour is very pleasant and a tad sweeter than other's I've tried, which I like. I find the draw of the Evo is far too hard - sometimes this can be alleviated by pushing the mouthpiece up just a little. Also annoying is the quite noisy nature of the cig. All this is a great pity as the build quality of the units (I have the white version) is second to none and the look is very smart. I bought the Evo (from the Intellicig website) after watching igetcha69's 'rave' review and wonder if I simply don't have the knack of using the 401M's - I find the DSE901's to be a doddle. Fox

Oh my goodness! So much great info and you're all so generous!
Scylla, great advice on getting 2-fer kits. Mine has 2 of almost everything for *cough* emergencies but it took me a week to realize I needed to keep both ecigs with me all the time... doh
Chrissie, thank you for the links - I feel some homework coming up and will try to get answers on my own!! Crossed fingers hoping the big battery holders are interchangeable with mine but have a baaaaad feeling that they aren't.
Fox, wot's a doddle??? LOL Can't find a model # with mine, do you think it's a 401M or DSE901? Wondering if that would help with compatability questions on the big battery holders on Chrissie's links above!
Up for an hour now and vaping only - no baccy yet:)

Sorry Ivy, I don't think there are any big battery holders compatible with the EVO - unless some is selling an adaptor for them. Doddle is a UK expression meaning easy Meant to add that I'm fairly certain, as Fox says, that the EVO is a M401. Just checked a few places & it looks like USA seller altsmoke that I linked to earlier, is selling an adapter so you ca use M401 atomisers on a 510 Silver bullet altsmoke.com/starterkit/silverbulletusa/batteryadpt.html?SID=d0d8fd76b5bb96a66a62aae1de0e6753

Ah gotcha! Thanks again Chrissie. I've put the high menthol cart in this morning and am very thrilled. Expect the v high menthol ones will be more wonderful, then I'll look for equivalent liquids. This weekend will be spent doing lots of research!
Amazing what the right combo does!! xoxo

Ivy, if it will help, please feel free to start your own thread Might be a lot easier for you to check back on answers that way Oh & we can help you with your research so much And that also goes for any one lurking - never hesitate asking questions/starting threads, the more the merrier Think about it this way, every time anyone asks questions there is a good chance that the replies may help others as well
