ROFL Trust me - sensible, calm & competent are not qualities I'm known for !!! I am pure lollipopishness!! You're all incredibly kind & generous I have no smileys that prance about! - or florist gallery ! -or lolli shop SOB! - (guess even if I had 'em I'd never get to move 'em onto /into here ) But wish I could post good stuff for everyone - I am off to contemplate this dilemma!!!

Scylla, I wonder if we all lost the live broadcast due to so many people trying to listen in at the same time? BTW, I totally agree with Lolli, you are truly IRREPLACEABLE

Just a thought ??? Wanted to ask you "techie lot" - as the bbc broadcasts only remain on i play wotsits for 6 days - IS there an EASY way to record all those bits (as on page 6) ? - in order to keep ? The whole lot probably lasts less than 10 mins. Just wondering...............

No Lolli, sadly I don't think there is any way to save it From the BBC i-player help pages : Radio downloads and Podcasts "It's not yet possible to download all radio programmes for rights reasons. Certain content, including full-length music tracks, can only be offered with digital rights management protection (DRM), and we don't yet have permission from the BBC Trust to offer radio content with DRM. However, you can still listen to almost all radio programmes on BBC iPlayer as audio streams, which can be played up to seven days after the programme's original broadcast. "

Firstly, WELL DONE Lolli and thank you so much Secondly, I have had a quick look around and it seems you may be able to download to play again on your PC or Ipod. www.neroftheherd.com/tools/radiodld/I'm downloading it to test right now and will report back!

It worked! OK, quick walkthrough for you Lolli, although it was as easy as pie. Click the link www.nerdoftheherd.com/tools/radiodld/Click 'download' Select BBC Then I tried searching for the programme under the various groups, but in the end, just clicked 'J' and scrolled down the list until I found Julian Clegg Deselect all the boxes apart from 19/03/10 Click 'download' with the blue arrow in the top bar. Hey presto - took about 5 minutes. I don't know how to edit it, or even if that is possible, but you can fast forward, play and pause as with any player. Good luck

I must admit that I'd have thought the same as Scylla but it will be brilliant if it doesn't

I just listened to the interview on the I-Player......Rose you did a great job & sounded knowledgeable, honest & as if you are used to doing this sort of thing on a regular basis! Folks, we just found ourselves a great spokesperson!. Anyone wanting to `save` the interview & comments can simply tape-record the broadcast......(while it`s still on I-Player). Some MP3 players also have a record-function. Nick.
