Sorry to read that Chrissie, I know how you're feeling. I lost my mum on October 21st (my birthday). We were chatting while she was getting ready for bed when she doubled over in pain, passed out and died - a ruptured abdominal aneurysm. She was 89 and had been living with me since my husband died in '95 so I have a big empty space in my world just now. Christmas will be unjoyful this year methinks. Still, everything passes they say.
Chin up!

That's a terrible disease Lilac, at least my mum didn't suffer for more than a very few moments. Knowing that doesn't really help me - full of self-pity I am!! Fox

Foxy....If you just lost your mum in late October then you'll still be very raw and maybe even angry that she was taken from you so suddenly... very normal, babe, give yourself time, lots of it...took me a very long time to come to terms with her loss, i say that cos i don't think you ever get over losing someone, especially your mum... you should be proud at how well you're doing with the ecig, and you're making me jealous cos im not doing so well, even the batteries are playing up....eeeeek

Scylla...i realised long ago that things usually go wrong when im around The batteries charge for around 90 mins, then the green light comes on, but i'd only been puffing (or attempting to rather) for maybe an hour or less, when it flashed 10 times which means it needs charged..right? So i put it back onto charger but the light went green after 15 mins ??? Sorry, Chrissie, i didn't realise you'd had a loss as well.... :-[ so ((((hugs)))) to you too

This'll be the first Christmas ever that she won't be with me and her dying on my birthday will always be a very sad reminder. She was a great mum and my best friend; I was very lucky to have had her for so long. Fox
