Thank you all for the lovely welcome and great advice My new juices arrived today, and I refilled some old skycig carts, no problem. Got two nice flavours, ginger biccie and mint choc chip ice cream. Both very pleasant, and I'm getting a nice lot of flavour from them. Only thing is, I seem to be developing a sore throat from one of them? Maybe its just co-incidence, or maybe its related to my lungs clearing out from not smoking? Just wondered if its normal to have a sore throat/period of adjustment to new flavour juices? Or perhaps the formula of these new juices is different to that in the sky cig carts, and I need to get used to that? Another thing - do you guys have several bottles on the go at once, or stick to just one or two. Now I know I can refill, I'm itching to buy a few more flavours!

Sore throats/mouth ulcers, bleeding gums and things of that nature are all normal when you first stop smoking. Since you mentioned the ginger biscuits though, it is possible that you are sensitive to the ginger in the vape, you will figure out soon enough if you are. As for vaping different flavours, on a very busy and so fairly boring vape day for me I use at least 4 different flavours. On a normal day probably about 7 or 8 flavours. I like to swap and change a lot

Hello and a belated #welcome2# from me! Pleased to hear you had no probs filling your cartos! Ellen is right, you can get some weird things happening when you first stop smoking, it soon passes and is worth it in the end! I tend to have at least 4 flavours on the go at once. it's best in the beginning to just buy small sample bottles as your taste buds can change

Since you mentioned the ginger biscuits though, it is possible that you are sensitive to the ginger in the vape, you will figure out soon enough if you are. I'm inclined to think it might be the ginger biscuit liquid too - it seems to be making my throat tingle/itch a bit. Funny, as I'm not sensitive to/allergic to eating ginger - in fact I use both root ginger and dried ginger loads in cooking and baking. Very annoying if I am, because its a lovely flavour. As long as its not likely to be the pixie juice base formula that's irritating me, I think I'll go ahead and order a couple more flavours. I really like menthol, so I think I'm going to try the Black Ice and the Blackcurrent Ice...

A belated hello from me too. I also suffered stomach cramps for the first couple of weeks as well I tend to have a favourite juice that i'll use relentlessly for about a week till I discover a new flavour, then swap to that one. I now have a Tupperware tub filled with half empty bottles, and im still in the look out for more!

Jody, even before you confirmed it was the ginger biccie juice, I'd guessed that might be the one. I also love the flavour of ginger, but do have problems vaping it.

I have to be careful with Ginger & Cinnamon eliquids Jody, if I overdo them, then I can get a very sore tongue & throat. Darn nuisance as they're two flavours I adore and don't have any problems eating food stuffs with them in . . . a little I can get away with though. Hope you're the same as Pixie's Ginger Biccie is lush.
